What are the warmest gloves??

hi there i am looking to buy some gloves for my gf. I recently bought her some Burton gore tex but still cold....any suggestions? or just use hand warmers =) thanks
 
mittens indeed. my hestra anthony boronowskis are dank, but I wouldn't buy one for my gf unless I was in some serious trouble. heh.
 
i love my dakine scouts...u can wear them with or without inserts and i use inserts when its like -20 and colder and im fine....
 
for sure, haha, i told u about that, yeah the liners for scouts are amazing, i wore them in -7 and snowing and they were warm as hell and didnt soak through, i heart dakine products
 
Hestra gloves in general are really warm, a good mitten too. I find that if I dress warm enough I can wear my grenade pipe gloves almost every day.
 
are you kidding me? these have to be the absolute worst glove i have ever owned/dropped $100 on. pieces of CRAP. not only are they dakine's most expensive glove, they are also:

-not water proof

-not warm

i live on the west coast where our winters can't touch east coast winters temperature-wise and holy mother-father they are terrible. my hands freeze when it's -1 degree!. hell, they'll freeze when it's warmer than that.

worst.glove.ever.

nobody buy this glove, not now, not ever!
 
Answer to your question: The Marmot Ultimate Glove. Nothing made by anyone else comes close. I plan to get myself a pair as soon as my current gloves eat it. End thread.
 
For gloves check out the outdoor research alti or super colouir gloves and the the marmot ultimate. I have the alti and the are super warm but a bit bulky, the marmot ones are a little less bulky. Both are very expensive though. If you want mitts, check out the outdoor research line.
 
get the Scott mittens that have the gore-tex 2-in-1. There's two chambers in the glove and it's almost like wearing two pairs in the warm side. When it is warmer out you can put your hand in the "grip" side and your hands don't get sweaty. Two gloves in one is pretty sweet bt it's a bit pricey at about 199 CAD
