Make sure you all make it out to this event, we promise to not dissapoint.

... ya know a season night pass (after 4pm) was only $110. Not a bad deal for those of us who work during the day.

im super excited to go back to welch now. im glad the comp is later in the day. it feels like most comps start early and end early and then youre just bored. this should be sick.

Cabins should be an option. I will look into it tomorrow and let all of you know. I think we can get the $100 per cabin deal. I might have Tony be in charge of this. I will get him the info. from group sales. Just stay off the park and hills in the middle of the night. The groomer guys have a quick trigger finger for calling the sheriff. All in takes is one idiot to ruin this thing for next year. Maybe no snowboarders allowed?

All the cabins are available for the March 15th. I have one reserved but we could get more if we need to. I am nominating Tony to organize this. You will need sleeping bags and towels...its pretty rustic but it works. There is a fire pit and a grill there too.

Also, I should have a waiver available on our website this week to download. If your under 18, you will need to get the parent/guardian signature notorized.

I gotta go...I'm meeting with Red Bull in a few minutes...how many Red Bull girls do we want? 5, 10, 20?

Just got done talking to our Red Bull rep. The Sunset Jam will feature the Red Bull arch along with their ski/board videos on the giant screen. In addition, the WIngs Team (aka Red Bull girls) will be serving all athletes free Red Bull at the Redbull Arch during the competition. As you guys all say...."this is goin to be sick".

after party/ giant sleep over in super "rustic" cabins!

The morning after (sunday) we should make a gaper day...whos down???

Let's do it! Film day on sunday! Hopefully we can leave the rails from the comp. in place and hit them! I'll talk to maintenance this weekend and figure out if its possible.

yo if were coming down from duluth what time should we get there so we can practice and its 55 bucks for everything right?
age groups? no

You have to register between 2 and 4 pm, practice will start at 4, so make sure you make it for that...

And it is actually 20 dollars for the comp, and 25 for a lift ticket (we got you all discounted lift tickets, just say you are there for the comp....) so 45 dollars total

and no, there are no age groups

Is the plan currently to tear down the set right after the comp? Is this going to be held on a different part of the hill, or are you resetting everything for the comp...?

The rail part of the comp is what will most likely be torn down, the jump is going to be the one that is in place right now but with majore adjustments...

an am comp in the morning would be pretty sick for those of us that suck at skiing, just a thought. it'd be cool to have a set-up and comp for everyone. ideas for next year thats all

For sure, we just want it all one class because then we can have bigger stuff in the comp, if you come to the smudfly there may be different classes for that

There should be a waiver available to download on our website today. welchvillage.com

If you are under 18, you will need to get a notorized signature from your parent/guardian. Or, if a parent/guardian is attending the event, just have them sign it there. You will not be able to enter the competition without this. Also, you must be at least 14yrs. old to enter.

The waiver for the Sunset Jam is now online. Download it at www.welchvillage.com. You will find it right in the middle of the homepage. Again, if you are under 18 and your parents won't be there, it must be notorized. You will not enter the competition unless this happens.

We have some awesome prizes to giveaway this weekend...don't miss out! Those Dumonts have been in my office all year and I am anxious to get rid of them.

and my sweet hats have been sitting in my dorm and theyre taking up space. theyre looking for good homes.

so whose on the list for coming its well worth it when you look at the prizes, dumonts free pass and cash for first, tons of stuff from pinewskis for second and third, def going to be a great setup

k cuz i just got my liscense so my parents dont want me out too late driving, but the next day everyone whos not gonna stay at welch should come to hyland for season ender sesh

So is the park going to be open to the public up until the contest, or is it going to be closed all day for preperation?

The lower part of the terrain park (where the set up will be) will be closed on friday and saturday, but the top section, and middle section will still be open to the public.
