Walking Dead Season 3 Thread

That episode was pretty god damn predictable...as soon as he found Carol's knife, I knew it was her in that first room.

It'll be interesting to see the conflict build between the governor and rickistan...especially with andrea caught up in the middle of it. Hopefully next week steps up the action a little bit. After all of the action in episode 3, episodes 4 and 5 have been kind of tame. Episode 3 had me on the edge of my seat the entire time....i suppose you have to build though.
 
So I just finished the first book and I'm hooked but is there any relation to the TV show? Doesn't seem like it...
 
Glad Rick found closure with the phone thing, and I'm also glad that Michonne got to the prison and will tell Rick about all the bad shit going on in the town.

I really wanted Michonne to kill Merle when he was pointing the gun at maggie. when they kinda just drove off i was really disappointed. But when Michonne got to the prison it made me feel a little better. Yeah overall i think it was a big meh too.
 
I actually really enjoyed this episode. even though it didnt include as much action as previous ones it developed the plot alot which is always good.

main point to take away is that merle is still a fuckface

thought this was a pretty good episode for the show. This season has been amazing, so much better than last season. This episode wasn't as good as others but it was still pretty good.

I'm very excited for the black girl to join Rick's group and for Andrea to realize the gov is a dickhead.

Any thoughts on what the 'dead zone' is?

 
I said a couple of pages ago that Maggie would be next to die.

And first time watching talking dead, Rick has a fucking accent!? MIND=BLOWN.
 
How did I not realize the actor who plays Rick is English until right now? They just showed an interview clip on the Talking Dead and I was like...wat. Haha shit.
 
Yup I thought the same thing. I just had left the TV on while I was on my computer, and I heard some British accent. When I looked at the TV to see who it was, lone behold it was Rick. How he completely turns his voice into an American accent is beyond me.

Harper from the Black Ops II campaign is voiced by Michael Rooker (Merle from the Walking Dead). When I first heard him speak I was like... is that..? naaah... I looked it up!

Pretty good episode tonight, though it was fairly predictable in places. Stoked to see Michonne find the prison!
 
im assuming cause that one zombies guts were all over her so she smells like them...in season 1 rick and crew covered themselves with zombie guts so that they could sneak by without being smelled so it would make sense
 
maybe it's her blood?

as far as I know, until she got shot in the leg, the walkers attacked her as well...
 
In the sneak peak glenn got the shit beat out of him, real curious to what they will do with Maggie especially if the governor has his "way" with her...
 
it might be because im a french canadian but I watched the first 2 season in french and now I've been watching the 3rd season in english and the first time I heard rick in english I knew that he was British.I couldnt understand shit when he was talking at first but now that im used to his accent it's alright.

and yeah the zombie wasnt going after michonne because she had zombies blood and shit on her just like rick did with glen in the first season
 
we all knew carol was still alive. I'm interested to see how Andrea reacts if she ever finds out about her other group. I mean she is sleeping with da govna but it is her old group. I want to know how she feels about them leaving her behind at the farm. is she upset they left or would she be happy to see them?
 
I feel like Andrea would understand. They saw her go down and thought what anyone else would, shes gone. The group would be excited to see her and obviously welcome her back. I think after talking to her she would join up again with the ricktatorship. She is a moron and just accepts whoever is "current". If she died in the next episode I wouldn't be mad, she bailed on michone who is the shit and fucked the govna.
 
I bet the governor would corrupt her, ya know? Make her believe that her old group abandoned her and don't want her. I could be wrong, but the gov isn't going to let her leave, he likes getting poon
 
I feel the same way about her. I think if presented the opportunity she would even go as far as to betray her old gang. She just strikes me as being a fair weather friend. On the other hand, there is Michonne who is just a straight up bad ass!

yeah true... and who from the old group is important enough to her anymore? amy and dale are both long gone and a bunch of other people have died so if she really trusts the governor she would likely stay.

i bet she will catch the gov doing something fucked up and then leave with the rest of the group or something. cant imagine her staying with him, but she probably wouldnt just pack up and leave now
 
just gonna throw this out there....Glenn is a fucking pussy!! Meryl (sp?) snatched up maggie and had a gun to her head. However, glenn had a gun a Meryl...and Meryl was like 4 feet away with his head completely exposed. He could have EASILY busted a shot off right in Meryl's dome and they would have been all good....but instead he puts his gun down like a bitch and ends up getting both of them taken prisoner....

and that's not even to mention that both he and maggie had guns on Meryl, yet he got the fucking jump on them? they both should have unloaded a few shots the second homeboy made a quick move....he's no walker....a shot to the chest would have done just fine.

shit's fuckin WEAK. happy thanksgiving.
 
^ yeah well its a tv show so sometimes things happen for the pure sake of advancing the plot. if glen had just shot merle and was done with it, it would have pretty much ruined the rest of the season.

take lotr for example. gandalf could have given the ring to an eagle and just had him drop it in mount doom but he gave it to frodo and made him walk for weeks, but it made an awesome story so nobody complained.
