You must be joking. It is easy and fun to degrade people based on their degree choice. When is that last time you actually met someone smart who had a BA in anthro?

There are certain degrees that have no value whatsoever and should not be taught anywhere.

Just look at graduate test scores by major. Business majors are retards.

Palin could be the downfall of the republicans in this election. I'm not exactly sure why she was chosen... other than the fact that she's a woman.

The republicans spent the entire early part of the campaign criticizing Obama's lack of experience. So what do they do? They chose a running mate who's only political experience is mayor, and governor of a state of less than 700,000 people. Absolutely no experience in Washington. She doesn't really bring anything to the table. Other than negative publicity.

She's pretty much lacking in every category. Including foreign policy, which is the bread and butter for the republicans. They won't even let her speak out of fear she will keep making a fool out of herself. And after Lady McCain made the comment about Russia being visable from Palin's house, people are getting the vibe that this could be George Bush with 2 X chromosomes. She in no way helps the republican ticket in any way shape or form.

If this were a straight forward world. Obama/Biden would win this election hands down, no questions asked. But Obama's black and his middle name is Hussein. Americans are closeminding and easily persuaded.

Kerry Lost to Bush because of moralistic and conservative christian ideals.

If Obama loses to McCain because he's black, I'll be ashamed to have been born in this country.
 
She already is. I respect Mccain for the most part, Palin has done nothing but prove she isn't up to the job.

I can conclude two probable things from this post. First, that you're probably an idiot. Second, that you probably attended a pretty substandard school. I in fact have met plenty of people from all departments that are bright people. I have also met plenty of people from all departments that I would not consider very smart. You can't judge any serious field of study by the conduct of a handful of people. I'd go so far to say your assessment boarders upon bigotry.

For people complaining about the moderator, I know nothing about her, but you'd better have more than the expression on her face during a speech and circumstantial evidence to go on. My suggestion is that you actually WATCH the debate and see if you honestly believe the questions are biased. Then you can get back to whining about how the media is so liberal.
 
This is Bidens debate to lose, no question about it.

If he gets sucked into trying to make Palin look like like a moron he will come off as condesending and the public wont like him. He needs to ignore the shit she fucks up during the debate (like stats or whatever) because the media will handle that later. I think he should focus on presenting himself and his opinions in a manner that is relevent to the people; he needs to just ignore Palin and just focus on himself and he's won it.
 
According to the McCain campaign Palin is going to attack, attack, attack. Basically try to hit Biden so that he has to play defense. What he needs to do is be able to smile and take the hits, cheerfully point out why she's completely wrong about everything without being condescending, and make exactly no gaffes. It would also be to his advantage to get out one or two decent clips or sound bytes so cable news has a reason to put his face on the TV.

SHE IS WRITING A BOOK ON BLACK POLITICIANS. So obviously it is biased for her to be writing about the first black person EVER nominated to be the presidential candidate for a major party....right.

I think it would be wise and make for a very well researched book for her to scrap that chapter.

First, going to a good school doesn't make you that intelligent. Look at bush, and what he's turned out to be. Most people don't like him.

Second, McCain did not beat Obama in the debate. I actually heard it was a tie from a specialist. The polls could show something different though.

^it's pretty clear that no matter who you prefer to be president, McCain has been sinking after the first debate. All the polls reflect it, and AP reported today McCain is admitting defeat Michigan.

Yeah, I don't know what debate you guys are watching, but she's doing better than anyone expected and probably at least as well as she needed to so far. Biden's getting a little flustered.
