max and tosh peters are no longer on 9 as well. it will be interesting to see what happened with corey. CVAN and henrik were 9s only legit athletes.
 
true this is falling out is what it looks to be since campell said CVAN would be the next owner along with henrik and himself but they just released next years stuff to the teams and the general public i think too
 
i created a thread about this an hour ago and it got deleted not sure why but it did. but i thought ninthward was a legit company.
 
no. they screwed ns out of a bunch of ad money a while back. and in general dont run their company in an upstanding manner. but losing all 3 of them at the same time? that leaves who? henrik. i wouldnt be surprised to see 9th go under soon.
 
9thward is only alive because of Henrik Harlaut.

Oh and I've always heard 9thward makes shitty product. It must be true considering every facebook post is: "WE ONLY HAVE 20 HHP SKIS LEFT OVER FROM LAST YEAR PLEASE BUY" and the same thing 6 months later.
 
I don't give a shit because I never bought/planned on buying 9s. However, it is wrong that they "conned" NS.
 
Thats all bullshit, 9 makes one of the illest skis made. Hands down some of the best graphics along with a really well put together and constructed skis. The two pairs of 9's i have had i have loved.

Just cause 3 people drop 9 does not mean they are going under. They still have Henrik, Sig and a ton of other young guys who bout to blow up.

If 9 was shitty why would Henrik ride for them?

 
9th did get a little better rep after they stopped making shitty product and started making skis at Elan. That was a good move, but it still hasn't made things turn around for them...

After screwing up everything with NS, and making skis that were pretty weak for a while, they lost quite a bit of support, including my own.

The one pair of 9's I had back in the day? Destroyed them in about 4 hours and I wasn't even in the park haha.
 
Because all pro skiers only choose a single company with the best quality skis when they're looking to get sponsored. Money has nothing to do with it at all.
 
You mean to tell me you wouldn't ski with a company over other companies if you were paid more?

I guarandamntee you would.
 
the NEW 9s are def legit skis, good quality, light, and durable. and ninthward is def. a good company, they are very underrated, and i dont see why everybody seems to hate them (aside from the NS add thing which was really screwed).

and on another note, since CVAN is off 9, they should give out a few pairs of the CVPs for free!!!!
 
im kind of glad the peters are off of 9, mainly because they shouldn't have pro model skis......there sick at skiing, but they did not deserve pro model skis, same when nick greener was on there team, he slays shit, but doesn't deserve a pro model. I hope max and tosh find a better sponsor and start filming more again
 
No, I'm not, thats like the exact opposite of what I said. Pro skiers always select the lone company that they think makes the best skis and then get sponsored by them. It has nothing to do with money, contracts or pro models.

Also, way stoked for Vanular, Faction and him might do some good things together for sure.
 
As much as I hate the dudes that run Ninthward, I have to admit both pairs of Butterlicious I've had have been bombproof. After about 50 days of urban they only had 1 edge crack. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they went under. They've fucked a lot of people over and overall have a shitty attitude. Hopefully all their riders end up at a company that actually treats their riders well.

salomon offered him tons of money so he would ride the skis but he likes Mick D more than salomon i guess.
