I was thinking the exact same thing while watching it. That lighting combined with Cirque du Soleil performers would be incredible
 
Of course they dont, Beijing's budget for their opening ceremony is greater

then the entire VANOC budget for the entire olympics

Alright, I'm back. That was a BAD shit. One of the ones where it comes out before you sit down and bounces off the toilet bowl rim. Just kept coming and coming. Did I miss it?
 
The announcers are talking about wayne having a "special torch" because it is lasting so long meanwhile they did not notice that he switched it like three times.
 
a couple things...

the hanging skier things appeared to be wearing the red full tilts from this season. dont hate for ridin FTs dick though, im serious.

projection is baller as fuck, all of it fo sho.

the first nation dancing stuff looks like crip walking. ive noticed this trend whenever i see native americans do presentations around my hometown as well.
 
Epic fail. And that was such a rad way to finish it, too. Though if I had to pick one guy to light the thing it`d have to be Rick Hansen, the others are all great athletes, but that man is a bona fide hero. Nice touch having him bring it into the stadium.
 
i kept waiting for it to not be gay and it just didnt happen, so I turned on the pItt vs. w. virginia game witch went to 3 overtimes and was a good ass game
 
I absolutely hate the olympic opening ceremonies...

they are just beyond gay. they are filled with all this dancing bullshit and country crap. i wanna see some fucking skiing or something. i dont want to see some kid running on a floor that is moving under him. it just stupid....
 
ate a brownie before i watched them. i was like "wow this sucks" until I got baked. Interestingly enough this happened right as shit got weird so the moons kind of aligned on that one.

because of my condition, i think that the opening ceremonies were the COOLEST FUCKING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. the part where the whales were coming out of the ground? yea, fucking insane. the fiddle shit was intense too, reminded me of home.

the only thing i didn't like was that the giant ice cock went flacid and didn't come up. if the structure had worked, i would have deemed the ceremonies FLAWLESS.
