Don't let NS be your deciding factor, just know the following: boulder has better skiing, better weather, and hotter girls. burlington has a lot of hippies (as does boulder, but burlington has more), but it is a smaller school and it is closer to skiing. the weather sucks from about october to april, whereas in boulder, it will either be sunny or snowing during this period. the academics are comparable, cu has really good engineering and they both have great business schools. obviously, uvm is way closer if you are on the east, but you'll get used to flying if you go to cu and you're from the east. When i was deciding between the two, i read so much hate about boulder on NS, and i still chose to go there. looking back, it was the best decision i've ever made. Just do what feels right, you'll have a blast at either.
