USA vs. CANADA

the awesome thing about the US is each state, in most cases, differers a good amount from the next. sure some areas of the US suck ass, but some places are straight up amazing. where with canada, where i have lived and visited a shit ton, everythings just kinda meh.. and the people generally suck. id rather have to encounter really shitty people/places but live in/visit awesome ass places instead of just live in mediocrity.

so you're agreeing with me that the kid i quoted and call ignorant is an idiot? and yet you still call me ignorant for calling him ignorant? you're a moron too bud.

you are both morons. how bout that? just keep living in your north van bubble and generalizing the whole US b/c that's a lot easier than going there and seeing what's really good, eh?

yeah.... i will say i do like BC compare Washington to Louisiana. its almost another word.
but Canada loves the states, where the perfect patsy.... if some one farts it was USA... we get it.. we take it .. we love it. Canada,,, well were not like the USA down there. ...

i drove across america recently i saw 1 good looking chick and the fattest man ive ever seen in my life and a whole bunch of other fat ugly people i was out in the middle of nowhere for most of it so thats expected...no really point to saying that but 4000km through the states and very few adults under 250 pounds

but get this canada one of the mcdonalds had 50 chicken nuggest for 9.99 and gas is like 70 cents a litre so thats pretty sweet

all you canadians that drive up to baker need to learn how to go drive and be courteous to the people who are TAILGATING YOU BECAUSE YOU DRIVE SO DAMN SLOW.

Use your spells to transport yourself there Gandalf.

Oh wait, I forgot all you can do is break a bridge and kill a stupid troll thing. Fail wizard!

i'd just like to say that when i'm driving in the states i always see bc plated cars driving way faster then all the washington plated cars.

sean and i were even having a conversation about this while driving on the redwood highway into california from oregon.. how canadian drivers tend to drive way faster then the american drivers only moments later to be passed by once again.. a bc plated car.

going up baker you're just getting the retarded vancouver people who have never driven on a steep road with turns and no barriers.. however driving the sea to sky, the worst drivers on it are from washington or oregon. it was horrifying on the mlk long weekend driving the sea to sky, so many american drivers.

A confederation. with a parlimentary/republican system mix, and with regional independent lawmaking abilities, and a collective bargaining agreement over shared revenue.
And if New Zealand rolled with us, how would they be run by americans? Americans live on the east coast.
Cascadians live in the far west, sucka.
also. its just a confederation. so we have open trading and migration abilities, but separate cultures and laws (thus, making it the PERFECT situation for skiing... because you wont even have to get a visa to fly to cascadia to ski in the winter up here)
Yeah. we'd fucking rule... you know it.

i've posted this before in a similar thread but,

ShadowoftheMoon_filmstill_13.JPG

Canada/Canadians, i love you all. But the apollo missions really take the cake not only for American but for mankind.

LMAO......
if it wasn't for are Canadian engineers going down south after the AVRO ARROW project was shut down you guys wouldn't have nasa or landed on the moon.......
http://www.avroarrow.org/avroarrow/AvroandNASA1.html
just a small taste
"The cancellation of the Avro Arrow supersonic fighter project on February 20, 1959, initiated the breakup of the extraordinarily talented team of engineers at Avro Canada, a team that had put Canada at the forefront of world aviation technology with the design and development of such projects as the C 102 Jetliner, the first jet passenger plane to fly in North America, the CF 100 all-weather fighter, and the legendary CF 105 Arrow.
In the meantime, the newly formed Space Task Group at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility at Langley, Virginia, led by Robert Gilruth, former Assistant Director of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, was overloaded with urgent work on theMercury space capsule design. At the time Gilruth was desperate to find experienced engineering personnel to develop the project. Gilruth had been involved in the wind tunnel and free-flight model testing of the Arrow models at Langley and the firing range on Wallops Island and was well aware of the unique capabilities of the Avro engineering team. He was quick to take advantage of their availability and made an arrangement with Avro to borrow a team of approximately 25 engineers to go to Langley and work on the development of Mercury."

you guys just always want a piece, huh? you're always scrounging for scraps of recognition. well, i'll tell you huwhat...this is AMERICA and we don't have any for you! so git out!

ah yes, the space program. As brought to the Americans by good ol' Americans, like Dr. Werhner Von Braun.

So much as that is a proud american achievement, Fact is that without the Nazis/Germans, no one would have gone into space when they did. Not the Americans or the Soviets.

yeah it's a pretty cool idea....i have a fat 3 foot by 5 foot cascadia sticker (just like the one in my icon) on the back of my subaru, i get comments/questions on it all the time

First off that is an assumption and pure speculation. Second, just because some Canadian's helped out doesn't mean you can claim responsibility. Recognize that Jim Chamberlin left Canada and never went back. I do believe he actually became a U.S. citizen. Why? I don't know, but I can only assume it is because the U.S. kicks ass.

Are you trying to say that landing a person on the moon is not an accomplishment?

If it is not then try it out, it should be easy.

no its definitely an accomplishment but really, a bunch of people were stoked they got there and tonnes of resources were wasted. i guess what im asking is, is it really worth everything wasted? nothing was gained from landing on the moon and lost was lost

It's all in the name of knowledge man, we are past the age subsistence. It is the same reason we send probes to mars and take pictures of the sky, to learn about the universe. They brought rocks and shit back from the moon and now we know what the moon is made of and thus a more accurate theory of how the moon got there.

Owned. It's a double win for me because he was born in Winnipeg!

Isn't someone from the production team of The Simpsons from Winnipeg? I don't know who...
