energy drinks are no worse for you than coffee.

Is that really an opinion? More like denying researched facts. Although I admit we still haven't had a decent long-term study on the effects of energy drink consumption, but even the short-term ones pretty much show that unlike coffee, energy drinks have zero positive effects where as coffee does have shown positive effects along the negative ones.

But I digress, is this more like a one off "this grinds my gears" thread?

No, grind my gears is "Rant about whatever" thread

This thread is for you own opinions that don't "follow the crowd". For instance, I could say Trump's travel ban on certain Muslim countries is justified. Def not a popular opinion, especially to the sjw left.

Right, right. I do think the SJW types are digging their own graves by going too fast and siding with antifa/neo-communists/"anarchists" in nearly all spectrums, but these travel bans seem to cause more trouble than their intended purpose.

Yeah energy drinks can be fucked. Coffee has plenty of good things and energy drinks have yet to have one.

I used to drink a shit load of energy drinks for work, it's about the only way I could get through...and it got to a point that even smelling one would make me want to puke.

As a veteran myself who has actually served in a combat zone, that is an awful opinion to have. Well, it's good for this thread. And good for a grunt. However, I suggest taking some time to research North Korea and form a real opinion before wanting to shoot innocent civilians who are brainwashed.

I don't want to get in to this debate. Just be careful before shallowing the kool aid. Are you active duty?

Be careful what you wish for. Brains will get you further than any gun will. Btw, I was in Iraq 2011, Operation Enduring Freedom. So I'm not speaking from a civilian stand point. I understand your thirst, I just don't agree with it.

I was also deployed to South Korea in 09/10 and it just so happened North Korea bombed an island in South Korea. North Koreans are brainwashed. The only threat is the leader and his people. Not the actual populace. Look up some documentaries or google some actual history about it. I'm not telling you what to do though, just a friendly suggestion. I wasn't a grunt..

What researched facts? Every article I've read about the "negative effects of energy drinks" only outlines the negative effects of caffeine...which would apply to coffee as well...or sugar...and there are plenty of sugar free energy drinks. The only thing I've seen that is attributed only to energy drinks, specifically, is possibly consuming too much vitamin b3.

So yes, I did mean to post this in the "opinion" thread, as it seems to be most peoples "opinion" that energy drinks are bad for you, and not something they've determined based on research or fact.

I see my coworkers down venti iced Americanos and then say to me "omg. I don't drink those-- those are horrible for you!" (pointing at my energy drink)-- they say "I couldn't drink one of those...I feel like my heart will explode from all the caffeine" while they simultaneously drink 3x the amount of caffeine in their Americanos. So yeah...opinion.

The old, low quality camcorder thing sucks. I hate the 4:3 video style and it makes edits so much worse. Its one thing if that's the only camera you have, but idk why some people deliberately use them even tho they have or can buy a better camera. Hell, iPhones are pretty damn good if you ask me.

I'm sure you've seen the effects of consuming a vast amount of energy drinks when it comes to kids, adolescents and teens - hyper, crazy, apparently a shitload of sleeping problems and inability to focus during school etc. etc. That's why I said it's regrettable we don't have any completed long-term research yet. They've banned kids under 15 buying energy drinks in Finland and for a good reason in my opinion. A regular 0,33 can of your favorite energy drink contains roughly the same amount of caffeine as your normal cup of brew, but people tend to chug them a lot faster and especially if going with Diet editions, the sweeteners/sugar substitutes are bad news bears, not to mention most of them have that glucose suryp shit as most soft drinks and a decent amount of E-codes swimming around.

Drink what you want, but just looking at the constitution of the drinks in comparison it's clear which are less healthy for you.

Onesies are awful. You just end up sweating in that horribly unbreathable fabric and get stuck everytime you roll over.

The whole "pray for Florida" "pray for Barcelona" "pray for ____" idea is ridiculous. I think it's just for people to post to act like they care and for selfish reasons. I'm sure few of the people who post stuff like that are actually praying. Do something to make a difference..don't just say it to say it.

Praying is better than doing absolutely nothing about it.

If you believe in prayer, then yes. But what I'm saying isn't that. I'm saying people who are posting this all over social media are most likely not praying for the people, places, events that occur. But also that's just my thought. No way of knowing.

Not sure if any of you agree but I fucking hate that guy boonk on IG and the other annoying as instagramers that think screaming and blasting shitty ass rap is funny.

She sucks. She also goes off on huge rants about how she cares about the environment and shit.....yet literally all she does is fly around the god damn world.

I remember she went on a huge rant about how she never uses straws or some shit.....and the next day she was in fucking Fiji to surf. I think you blowing through jetfuel is a lot worse than a recyclable tiny piece of plastic
