You're an idiot if you think business is a 10 year commitment, fucking 6 years for an undergrad and an MBA Iif you actually go to school to learn instead of party. And restaurants aren't a bad investment, they're high-risk. If you can't differentiate between that you're clearly not smart enough to go to a decent business school. As far as saying somebody who can't decide between business and culinary school isn't dedicated, fuck you. I take 24 credits a semester, 18 business and 6 culinary, and I work more than full time, so don't even talk about dedication, prick. Also, accusing somebody of being a "weekend warrior", when you admit you only get 5 days in a season, is pushing it a lot. go climb back into your parent's wallet and stay there.
To the thread creator, DU is a great school, but really pricey, but if you're out of state then like somebody above mentioned, its almost the same as CU Boulder. If you want to save money, it would be a good idea to go to a cheap school or a CC for the first year to get in state qualification and kill some gen eds, then transfer over. If you were considering boulder as another option, basically, both good schools, DU is closer to good night life, where as boulder is more of the house party type of town. so pick your preference. Also, if you go to boulder, prepare to be hated on by the rest of Coloradans. especially us denver kids. just a warning.
