it seems like everyone rides boots that are way to big. I have a size 12 street shoe (VANS are all I wear), yet in a ski boot I ride a size 27.0 with no work what so ever. Now, thats a B1 bandit boot, which is a fairly medium fitting boot as far as volume goes. Now if i pop into a plug, i stick with a 27, but the overall volume is much lower and it takes about 4 hours to 'dial in' the initial fit. Eather way, when im in the lift lines or just standing around, my boots are unbuckled. Its makes a huge differance skiing with a tight boot. and on top of that, I never have any pain any more, no shin bang, no toe bang, nothing. the reason you get pain like that is from to big of boots. ah.
