U.S.Freeskiing Grand Prix at Copper

Berg was str8 baller! But how about Lauri Kivari, those b2b dub corks were pure style madness! These two young guns are killing it!

Powdermagazine.com is live streaming it. They just posted on Twitter. Action begins at 9:30 MT,10:30 CST

Too bad I can't watch today, the FWT is on today so I'm going up and watching that in person. How dare they have two pro comps on the same day!

Congrats to

Maddie Bowman (USA) 1st, Roz Groenewoud(CAN) 2nd and Brita Sigourney (USA) 3rd for the ladies

Mike Riddle(CAN) 1st, Aaron Blunck(USA) 2nd and David Wise(USA) 3rd for the guys.

Farq Mike Riddle is on fire this season! Copper SS course looked small and the first and second jumps were really close together, super short set-up time! Picking Woodsy or Russ for the win!!

Yeah riddle! kenworthy and margetts though ;(. Had the 3 for fantasy freeride, hoping to do better in slope

Kenworthys dub flat was so sick. If only he could put it to feet. Anyways stoked to see David wise up there!

Trying to work out what time the slope finals start (GMT)

It says 11:20am - is that Mountain Time, Eastern Time, Hammer Time or what?

If it was eastern it would have started 20 minutes ago, I'm pretty sure it was pacific yesterday, so it'll be the same today(-8) so it'll start at 7:20 for us.

anyone know if slope will be shown? the stream is just a replay of board pipe at the moment.

yeah, thanks a lot!

I had that "stream" open before, but it just shows some vid of stuff going down earlier, so I thought that they stopped streaming. Shouldnt there be womens finals on right now?

There won't be a live stream coverage of the slopestyle. Adn whats beeing broadcasted on NBC is yesterdays pipe I think.

Pipe can be easily covered by one camera if they really had to.....

Such a thing with slope takes a shit ton more of cameras, cables, etc.

Yea but they're already making a recording for NBC for next Saturday, so they definitely have the cables, cameras, and equipment. Why not just stream it?

why bother showing it at all if it's gonna be shown a week late, surely that kills the viewer numbers? Surely tons of viewers won't watch once they know the result?

Pretty sure the intended audience isn't people who keep up on this shit. The average TV watcher will have no idea the broadcast is late or what the result is

This is so frustrating there is no live stream that I can find. All I can watch is live scoring. We'll see whats on NBC in a few minutes, but mens slopestyle is well underway. Henshaw just took the lead.
