U.S. > Britain

they most likely choose to because they don't have the extra money lying around. I'm sure they would be happy to execute their "freedom" if it were universal health care. And please tell me where you got these statistic I don't buy it.Just admit it, your healthcare is no good.

Nascar is basically racing around a giant roundabout and therefor anyone who takes nascar seriously cannot be taken seriously.

you haven't backed up your facts yet and therefore you have not won. Only in America can someone think they have won an argument without citing sources to back up their claims. Goes to show how well educated your country really is.

This thread is so fucking stupid.

Let's compare Britain and America on shit that actually matters:

Which country has the best standing in the world?

Oh shit, turns out neither of us are very popular right now

Who has the better economy?

Uh oh, we're both pretty fucked

Which country has the most social ills?

Obesity and gang violence vs. teenage pregnancy and disintegration. Take your pick

God Bless America? Bless both of us while you're at it. We fucking need it.

You have more developed cities because America is a huge fucking country

You have the most highways because, once again, America is a huge fucking country

"we are the only country that can take passenger flights to dozens of cities within our own country" is utter bullshit. Spend some time outside the US you ignorant fuck

"we have the northeast" you also have the South

the fact that we are a huge fucking, developed country, with inhabitable land almost everywhere is another reason why the u.s is awesome

there are about 50,000 commercial flights per day world wide. about 28,000 of them are in the u.s.

the south (except for south east florida) is our one weakness

Here's an old joke that kinda fits this thread:

Generals from the US, Russian and Finnish army were out having a drink. Then the bragging began:

"You think you got it well? We have over 20,000 jet fighters", the US general begins.

"Is that so? Our proud navy has a fleet of 30,000 destroyers", the Russian general exclaimed.

"Well, I don't know about my army that much, but there's a guy living in the middle of Helsinki who has a 12ft dick", the Finnish general says.

The US general retracts: "Well, actually, we only have like 2,000 jets..." The Russian continues: "Yeah, we really only have like 3,000 naval destroyers, too." The Finnish general blurts out: "Well, yeah, the guy doesn't actually live in the exact centre of Helsinki, either."

U.S.A. Is better because we didn't come up with bangers and mash.

The U.S. Is better because I can own and carry a weapon with high capacity mags. (cept the poor people in CA, MA, and NJ I feel sorry for you.

The US is better because the union jack flies over Parliment, instead of a swastika over the Tower of London.

what's your point?
i'd just like to say though; i like having history, i like the british summer, having a monarch, the tradition, our style of houses (devon/cotswold in particular), our relatively tight gun laws, the NHS despite all of its failings, our sports, our proximity to many other nations and the English, Scottish and Welsh countryside!
i love the United Kingdom and nothing any jumped up americans and their associated arrogance, ignorance or stupidity is going to make me feel any different. to whoever made this thread, find some other way to fill your seemingly empty life and grow up.

This is a rather pointless thread
Grow up and stop being so ignorant! You need to actually see the world before making evaluations on why one country is better than another, I'm fortunate enough to have visited many different countries around the world (including the USA many times) and know that all countries around the world have many great aspects and also many great failings.
Stupid pointless thread, but I'm going to keep my wonky teeth, my monarch, my pokey little island, my bad food, my rain... because I love Britain and it will take more than a silly ignorant 14 year old american kid to upset us. Us Brits are made of stern stuff!

I would like to extend a heartfelt, honest thank you to the fine folks over in GB for giving us Kate Beckinsale.

Kate Beckinsale shot for Esquire HD from Greg Williams on Vimeo.

A round of applause, everyone!

yea i got that the pictures illustrated that rather clearly.
but what's your point? for example i used to own a lot of old shit clothes, at the beginning of summer i chucked them away and now i'm left with fewer clothes but of better quality. more isn't always better.

What.. No snow? Considering cairngorm mountain was open from late november, until early june. Even the small english ski area's with one lift, were open for about three months.

Looking across to sunnyside at glenshee on april 10th.

canada, australia, and the east coast, aren't shit clothes. these countries dont get rain everyday and the east coast alone has a higher gdp than britain. now, that being said, i am half english and wouldn't be in this great country if britain didn't treat its citizens like shit.

I have been to England and can say that it is an amazing and unique country.
And America is full of idiots. This thread is my proof.

fair, i've got love for bits of canada (can't wait for my season in whis) and the east is nice but GDP isn't the be all and end all.
but india? australia? south africa? i'm ok thanks.

Did nobody else find this comical? He complains about ignorance then proceeds to say the U.S. needs mandatory education. Good stuff, right thur.

We're better because we can look at the rest of the world with a shit-eating grin on our face and tell them that we're better.
And that the rest of the world actually gets pissed
