People think this way when they fail to realize that their least favorite politician won an election and is a representative of other citizens of the nation they also live in. This country is a big place with a lot of different cultures, it shouldn’t be that surprising there’s a lot of different viewpoints.

Don't forget that most of congress is from a different generation. I can imagine Capitol Hill being its own bubble and echo chamber. It makes sense that bills that get passed will suit people from that generation. I can imagine something similar will happen when Millennials and Gen Z are the old dogs.

What's crazy is that fiscal responsibility doesn't care what gen you are. and neither side can figure out how to cut our absurd amount of spending. We're racking up 100 billion dollars A DAY in interest alone. It's absolutely obscene.

That’s a different argument. My point was the party delegates are fine with Kamala as are the people who voted for the Biden/kamala ticket in the first place. If someone hated Kamala they weren’t voting for Biden and her in the first place.

Isn't there some safeguard in place here to keep the delegates from just voting for whoever THEY think should be on the ticket?

Joe Biden won the democrat primary, not Kamala. If Biden is not fit to run again, he's not fit to serve now.

The democratic party is anti democracy - they are throwing away their primary election because their candidate isn't doing well. Now the question is if Kamala will actually be their candidate, or if they will pick someone more electable and make her VP. Democrats are thieves and scammers lol.

The DNC really is far less democratic than the RNC. They did this same thing to force hillary through in 2016. Add in all the attempts to kick Trump, Kennedy, and Stein off the ballot and it blows Jan 6th out of the water

They never had a real primary to nominate Biden. Now is their chance to hold one. If it were impossible to hold a primary for all voters due to voting laws, they could hold a primary among their electors like the Libertarians do. But instead they took the classic "party before people" DNC move and just railroaded Kamala through

I agree that kamala as the new nominee makes the most sense but as a Democrat this is fucking annoying. He's been making terrible gaffs his entire presidency and it's only getting worse. Pretending he was fine 6 months ago and now it's a problem makes every Democratic official in office look like a joke. They should have forced him to step aside sooner and let us actually have a primary to vote for a candidate. At this point I have zero confidence in the democratic party and think a Trump presidency is going to 100% be the fault of the leaders of the democratic party.

The entire point here is that they used Biden as an easily electable puppet. Once he became less electable, they booted him out. Nothing changed besides poll numbers and opinions of Americans. Biden wasn't fit to be president at all during his presidency, wasn't that obvious to everyone?
