the only part that i think is crazy was that they attribute the puppet show to some of the puppets like the clintons. they are cooked. i think theres a lot more money behind the political system and its minimal control from these front men. similar to how a record labels manage the image and songs of many musicians. i think these ‘donors’ are also grooming their representatives in a similar fashion. pushing kamala in with no due process seems to further benefit the obama/biden/harris agenda. they deliver on just enough to appease their voters with obamacare, the infrastructure bill, etc. while still pushing the agenda of their donors like when obama did the drink the water gimmick in flint, government bailouts, biden having a tax on $600+ transfers etc.
republicans play the same game. trump is 100% for hire. did a fundraiser in aspen where for $500k you could have a 1:1 with him. you got the money for him, he will deal with you no doubt and he panders to the far right crowd because its easier to draw on their emotions and get them to buy in.
i wouldn’t be surprised if there were people buying out both parties to continue the division of the people and the blame of the otherside to then pass things into law quietly.
if it were up to me, here’s how the government would look in this day and age:
-all government transactions are public knowledge (some discretion for public safety things)
-congress/president/supreme court does not get paid until they come to a resolution on issues
-congress/president/supreme court may not participate in the stock market or other forms of business while serving
-we use the technology we have to allow people to more freely vote on individual issues instead of voting on individual people to represent us
-simplification of the laws. make a bill length limit and have a committee dedicated to creating laws that are in layman terms so there is less opportunity for loop holes
-political donation transparency and caps. similar to how sports will have a salary cap on teams to create an even playing field, i think it would be interesting to put caps on how much a party can receive per campaign
-political ads would be limited to what you would advocate and would not be able to mention opposing candidates/fear monger
