The Bash 115 and Revolt 125 are literally some of the heaviest skis on the market. If you're looking for a workout, I say go for it, but that is going to be a ton of weight, especially with Barons. And I'd definitely go with the 115 if you want any sort of versatility for non-ideal conditions — or leg strength for the way down.
If you like the idea of the Revolt and Bash, I'd steer clear of the BMT series since they are way more traditional and not very playful.
If you're willing to move away from one singular brand, there are so many better options.
I think it mostly depends on what touring you're trying to do. You say day trips, so does that mean this setup is only going to be used for short tours, and no time in the resort? Or are you thinking something mostly for the resort, and only touring a few times? If so, the weight won't be as big of a deal and will be good for the resort. But if this is a dedicated touring setup, I'd highly recommend looking for something lighter, as well as a tech binding setup. If you're willing to look beyond Volkl, I'd be happy to suggest some options.
