good. I pooped a little when I read Nickleback and Creed. Puddle of Mudd is generally horrible too but I like that song 'she hates me' or whatever it;'s called.

yea, to be honest I really do. how dumb of me to think someone could actually like them.

I'm gonna go climb into a hole and die now.

Not in order:
Animal Collective
Arcade Fire
Beirut
Grizzly Bear
Bibio

Wash it at least every two weeks

Once every two weeks!!!!

Pink floyd, grateful dead, phish, string cheese incident, moe.

A think that's probably the top 5 for me. I love so many bands though. I tour with some of the jam bands every summer, go to festy's and pretty much any good show that's playing with in a 6 hour drive. Live music, can't beat it. Before the hate on jambands(which is retarded anyway) I've seen so many shows of many different genres of tunes

Top 6 is the best I could do. In no particular order:

Sublime

Say Anything

first off it was a girl that posted, and thats not lesbo music imo (tegan and sara?)

secondly i think its a pretty solid list.

blink used to be my fave and one of the most popular bands in the world, bloc party is dope..

and try to tell me this song isnt sick:

flash_video_placeholder.png

that song is not that sick...if you understand real music and the technicality/improv of jam rock you will understand why my (and mostly everybodys) list is 3000x better. if you ever see any of the bands i listed live, you will have a lifechanging musical experience (if you have tabs handy it will be that much more life changing). the killers will most definitely not do that live.
blink182 was cool in the 5th grade when all i thought about was potty humor. travis barker is a fucking genius on drums but the musical quality of the rest of their shit is mediocre at best. that goes for the entire alternative rock genre.
pop music is a fucking joke.

that clip you posted was amazing. and i do in fact love all of the bands you posted already.

the main point of my post was that your quoting of that chick sounded pretty harsh and i needed to stand up for the bands that i either like or used to like since theres nothing wrong with someone liking them.

but anyways, are the disco biscuits doing a big tour soon? cause they look siiiiiiick

poor girl getting her shit torn apart on the internet...boo hoo but really i mean the bands are popular but the music really isn't that cool is all i wanted to say. what im saying is that these bands that I stated are the kinds of bands that provide so much joy and energy to their fans during live performances, that the fans are willing to follow the band around on tour just to witness that kind of ecstasy again and again. the musicianship that is necessary to put on that kind of a show is far greater than any of those bands stated above.
and i don't know about a DB tour but i will definitely go to a show or 2 if there are multiple close by!
