To everyone changing their profile pictures to equal signs

I would like to formally disagree with the idea that the internet isn't real life.

The internet simply represents a shift in the communications technology available to humans. The argument that you're doing nothing when you do something on the internet is such an antiquated concept.

The internet is made up of people. When people do things on the internet, it can have just as much impact as doing them in real life.

Think about it this way - if you make money on the internet is that somehow deemed fake money? No. Its real money, because the internet is just a communication tool for real people.

Totally ironic, Pinks famous hotdogs in Hollywood sells a Huell Howser chilli dog that is 2 dogs in 1 bun. Huell Howser was gay.

I agree that it is still something real, but I think this is possibly the laziest form of activism that humanity has ever attempted.

You change your picture, and your involvement is done in 5 seconds.

It works because millions of people do it, then it gets on the news, and receives real coverage, but it still isn't a strong form of activism.

unless of course the justices of the Supreme Court are spending their days tallying up how many shares/likes it has.
