Because it would be for no other reason than more money. That is if he chose them over Armada. Chances are there are more factors involved, but so far corrupt isnt anything more than rebranded Dynastar. Weak.

in other news its good to see that they've finally put wester where he belongs, on the pro page. he was on AM for far too long while he was absolutely KILLING it.
 
i heard that his knee injury turned out to be more severe than expected and he has to put off skiing for a long time,.
 
How so? Cause they dont have anyone to fill the spot? He is great, but I am sure there was no dumping. If it came down to the cash, or the perks, a better offer is a better offer.

Maybe Nikes is making some skis, getting into the hardware game.

Maybe he got sick of the suits and the bullshit and started his own company.

you sir, are a jackass. pro skiers contracts will most likely end around age 30 or so. why wouldnt they do it for money? sorry that theyre not as core as you.
 
i disagree. moment skis are made by a few guys in a shop and isnt core

upt made in a factory? ski wise arent corupt skis exactly like

dynasters pretty dang stiff, and moment skis are have a fair amount of

flex (well some have huge flex such as the melees), besides the m1's.
 
Sorry I dont respect greed as much as some people seem to. Its not about being core, its about supporting a brand you believe in. If you change companies because they offer you more money, it shows people that you dont care about the quality of their product or their policies as a company. I'm not saying thats what TJ did at all, nobody knows yet.

Maybe you should go watch some hockey or football, those guys seem more up your alley.
 
well yes, nobody does know about tj and this has to be pretty funny to him if hes seen it, but my point is that looking out for yourself isnt greed or gluttony or being a sell out, its looking out for yourself financially so you wont go broke trying to stay on top of your skiing game, the ski industries so broke that principals have to come subjectively to a point.

3. No one knows why he switched, maybe its not money, maybe he is getting a signature ski, or has more freedom. Point is all we can do is speculate one what may have happened.

4. Forming an opinion on that speculation is falsehood.

5. TJ is ill no matter what, I dont care if he skis for Dynamic.
 
It seems to me, and maaaybe this is speculation, that the name Coreupt has more meaning than we care to observe.

All of its riders, fairly famous, drop their sponsors they've had for generations. And why do we ask? A promodel? Didnt candide already have one?

It's 100 percent evident to me that COREUPT, or shall we say CORRUPT, is manipulating the ski industry to gain control over the minds of the best riders. To what purpose, I cannot say, but I'm fairly sure it has to do with aliens. And Michael Jackson.

what id like to know is how a company (coreupt) comes out of nohwhere and has all this money to collect the world top riders.
 
Turpin never actually rode for Armada... He got protos and skis to test and they use him as feedback. So hes not on the team.
 
Of course I know that skiing is a business, thats exactly why we're having this conversation. My point is that skiing doesnt have to be like big business. A lot of the time big names like this actually have the option to represent a product that they believe in. Maybe corrupt will show us a better product soon, I hope they do. All I'm saying is that right now, their business is weak and unoriginal where there is a lot of room for improvement. They could be sick.

I hope you guys realize this isnt a digg at TJ. More so at coreupt. Because we dont know the whole story, I'm just sick and tired of seeing everyone focus their lives on making more money. Its getting sad.
 
It´s cuz coreupt has different investors that are not out of the ski industry. Literally you can say that they are some richass dicks, gamblin in the ski business cuz they are aware of the fact that our sport is a growin market.
 
I would suggest that Cosco hops into his plane, fly´s over to Vernon BC and asks TJ what the deal about this question haha
 
idk on their news section in like the 3rd update where they're chillen in ewport for the product discussion, he's there and in a team shoot..and it was done on july 30th
 
theres just no need for coreupt. it looks like they are just assembling a superteam and no one has riden the product yet. ever heard of FACTION?
 
why is everyone signing with coreupt? someone in the company must have some carzy cash flow going to be signing all these huge riders
 
Well with the introduction of coreUPT swooping up a bunch of top guys it frees up budget for Armada, Volkl, Rossignol, etc...that is money that could go to some up and commers I would hope. I mean come on skiing is all about sponsorship and money guys! HAHHA...JOKES

I hope they have good product cause they seem to pay well which our sport needs, pros earn it and get no where near the $$ snowboarding does. Again, I hope the product is good cause it could be a good shot of cash into our sport freeing up again cash from previous sponsors of TJ, Colby, Candide for some (if those companies are smart) guys like Wallisch, Cosco or some dudes that need and DESERVE cash from a ski sponsor so they have the means to travel and live off of skiing so we can keep watching them ski...
 
homie has an easy personality to sell. I bet he will get on some big name shit like rossi or salomon or maybe some wack ass company like volkl trying to freshin up its image.
 


I think this is not too bad of a thing, armadas team system is wack and if tj is no longer on the pro team it gives well deserving "pros" ( JACOB and PHIL) a chance to mvoe up and be recognized as the pros that they are within the company

but i wonder if theyll change the name back to the ar5?
