Tight Pants and Skiing

as long as your out there having fun why does it matter if your rockin tight pants or baggy ones.
 
why dont we all just wear tight pants and not use poles? wouldnt that be super progressive? or would we have just relapsed into the 50+ years of skiers looking like a bunch of tools. oppps, i just blew your mind
 
all u have to do is look at snowboarding, ski fashion is always about 3 yrs behind snowboarding, and snowboarders are all startiung to wear tight rockstar pants, so i bet skiers start wearing tight pants in the next couple of years
 
Yeah, that's what i mean. To me he looks more sketchy in comparison to someone who is wearing baggy pants only because its harder to see the true body position of the person with baggy pants, whereas it is very easy to see all the small movements in Hartmans.
 
my balls hang down to between my knees making it almost impossible to find pants that fit. wich is why i wear the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxl puffy 2.4 pant from oakley
 
so your saying the less controll you have over your body while skiing the baggier your pants should get? to hide the lack of control you have?

tights pants show the flaws unless you dont have any then it shows the immense skill!
 
With tight pants you have to be in control of everything you do because every flaw shows. So it means that your trying to perfect your style so that people can see every shifty, kickout, tweak, whatever a lot better. I remember skiing w/powfoka at brighton one night and we were doing 360 kickouts on like 20-30 footers and you would have been able to see the technicalities in your trick without the slim/tight pants. You know?
 
this is all newschoolers is about man. People bitch then people respond...it just goes on and on. Plus it summer out here..

i dont know, i think people need to get of jon hartmans dick. you cant rock tight pants unless you have ghetto slits, it looks mad ugly when you can see your whole friggin ski boot. racing called, it wants its steeze back. on the other hand when people rock nice fitted pants like the holden and that dude whos on technine and ride wears some nice ones too, that looks sick. you cant bite skateboarding style while showing off your ski boots. it just looks silly. and your style has to be rockkk solid to pull of tight pants, if you have any sort of movement in your tricks at all, its absolutely horrid.
 
true, generally skiing is 3 years behind snowboarding, and snowboarding a year or two behind skateboarding. but nyman has been wearing tight pants for 2+ years. that footage is from last year. but now snowboarding and skateboarding are to the point where there is just a bunch of different people doing different things. find the thing you're into and blah!

skiing needs to reach the point where it has all these different "groups" and people can be into whatever they want. without complaining about who and what is or isn't progressive, just have fun. thats why we ski right?
