This should be the goal of every skier

You just made me have a new goal for this year. Technically I'm not allowed to ski park anymore, but I planned on doing it anyways and trying to progress a little (carefully)at least this year.

Instead though I just want to be able to ski like this guy and just ride everything that I can as stylish and as smooth as I can.
 
Early rise...those are New Lifes with 3 Stage Rocker...way crazier that standard early rise, or even standard rocker.
 
Looks like a normal day of just nuggin around the home mountain to me, which is always a great time
 
Guess I'm gonna be the sole hater then. Given, the dude looks like he's having a boatload of fun, which in the end, is truly all that matters. But as far as making "the whole mnt your bitch" I don't know if doing some sketched out 3's, butters with crazily early rockered skis, and... I don't even know what to call em, impromptu skate stops? Hardly comprises riding the whole mountain. Don't all freestylers do that kind of thing on normal trails...

And then i'm not going to even get into how skiing without poles makes you look like a ragdoll. It can be pulled off, (wallisch superunknown) but not by this guy

Ending remarks, looks fun, hardly merits it's own ski gabber post.
 
thats what i thought, i enjoy messing around everywhere. carving down a trail isnt too exhilarating unless its gnarly gnarly. everyone: shred the fuck out of everything you see.....

or else.

see ya what you mean for sure. No hate on him cause it looked fun but I took that for a fun preseason edit. i mean alta isn't deep yet, or that safe, so he's messing around. not really amazing, just a little wack and fun
 
came to say the same thing. it looked like aton of fun for sure and was a good vibed edit. but the skiing was mediocre, and i still question why you he wasnt using poles at alta.

i was expecting way more watching the video
 
is this that new of a concept? pretty sure that's how ive been skiing my whole life! HP kills it though, such a dope video
 
this is how i've always skied but unfortunately, in the years i spent in CO, at least in the summit and winter park area, i almost never saw anyone skiing like this. maybe its a colorado thing idk. 90% of the park guys straight line it to the park, hit a park feature, stop, then hit another, stop, etc. then straight line it to the chair. if that's fun to them, good for them, just not my thing

kids from the midwest and east probably do a lot more of this skiing. always trying to make the most fun out of the "mountain/hill"
 
This actually was my goal haha. And this guy slays, but I personally would have enjoyed the edit more with some poles.
 
That was sick as hell no doubt... All my homies shred like this but in most resorts you get your pass pulled for doing that shit early season in the main runs of the mountain. Maybe i should just shred alta?

i do this every morning because i have to show up for instructing around 9 and the park doesnt open till like 10 or 1030 sometimes.

the only difference is that it's no fun for me cause my hill is 100% groomed, fenced and 90ft verticle.
