This is why my life hurts, who can beat me with a worse life

Also, OP stated quite obviously in the first post that it honestly isn't that bad.

But it's fun as shit and easy to kick someone while they are down so please proceed with the weak minded insults you perfect citizens of the NS community.

Don't worry noodle, I'm pretty sure the west will still be there in a couple years.

what the fuck does that have to do with anything?

las time i checked, having a WRX and being a total fuckup retard were not mutually exclusive.

she is my home right now?, if i sold her i would not make any profit the money i would gain from selling her might begin to cover the cost of aftermarket parts in her, but prob not

Quoted for truth. Any of you kids lifting trucks or dropping cars take a note, you will probably never see that money back when you try to sell or trade it.

Well keep your head on straight noodle. I'm flying solo these days as I split with the lady friend, if ya need a place to crash for a day or two, now or during the season, I'm still in the bear creek area.

Best of luck not serving time.

You got yourself duder. You come to a messageboard site, yet refuse to read, what 45 posts, before jumping on some kid with your assumptions. At least now you know what happens when you ass u me.

Nice icon though, is it wrong that it makes me hungry?

I know this isn't that bad but I have to have a 90 gpa to ski and I didn't get it this quarter. It doesn't rly relate except that the only person you can blame is yourself and it's quite. Disappointing

i would say about 1-2 billion people have it worse.

its fucked up that people discarded the above post with all the starving kids. ITS A SHAME THAT NOONE APPRECIATES A SINGLE FUCK THAT WE HAVE.

it always reminds me of sweet sixteen. everybody is always like "boohoo you silly bitch, you got a porsche instead of a lambo and you are crying like a whatever".

but just think about how someone living in a hut without a toilet or a bathroom, without clean water to drink or something to eat, let alone a fucking future w/ easy access to jobs and education would think about us. they would be like "boohoo" too. we are rich motherfuckers for 98-99% of the worlds population, face it and appreciate it.

there are many things in my past i am not proud of. One was giving Brett Favre a rimjob in an airplane bathroom.

you deserve it, driving drunk is very dangerous, your lucky you didnt kill anyone. hope you realize how stupid it was and good luck.

Last year I got a dui and crashed my car. Have to pay for my parents new car, and I got a criminal record but thats really not that bad. It sounds like your just super immature and you really need to step back and look at your life. Not trying to bash you because thats exactly what I did and even though Im making baby steps, their steps in the right direction. You have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and actually start doing something that is going to benefit you. If not, well I hope you like your current situation because shits just gonna get worse.

And jail just makes you tougher, so sack up, take responsibility and face the music, because you only have yourself to blame. Stop looking at your situation like a negative and just bringing yourself down, look at the lessons you've learnt and the dumbass mistakes your never going to do again because you KNOW the consequences first hand and that they are def. not worth doing that shit again.

Life goes on, so saddle up for the ride and start doing something with yours.

just dont dick over the people who do care for you and you will be fine....& if it matters, you know im here for you whenever you need something.

its funny cause youve never been poor. Being poor doesnt make you unhappy, that is a view that rich people hold.

I have been on both sides of the fence; ive lived in some rather shitty situations, and ive lived with a family that was next level rich. what i learned is that it is all relative. you adapt to the situation, and normalize to it.

people become unhappy when something happens to drop them below their equilibrium of normalcy, and get happy when something happens to raise them above it. it has nothing to do with who is richer, or who has food.

Damn, some people just dont realize this shit, cause they've never lived outside of their bubble. Its all subjective.

And OP never once came off like he was looking for sympathy, jsut seeing if anyone else could relate. He realizes he is responsible for the actions that put him in this situation.

My advice again, is to mark a day on the calender(sometime soon), and say that starting that day, you will pack your days with as many actions geared toward improving your life as you can. literally wake up, and start hustling job apps, using the interwebs to learn a new skill, meet a new person etc.

Good luck.

inb4 a bunch of kids who still live with there parents and are in HS or younger who think they're the shit and know everything.... O WAIT...

either way though you did this to yourself, like someone else said everything can pretty much only go up from now. Unless you really really fuck up. But it's all good man life goes on, people fuck up but in the end we're all gonna be dead haha

ok, i guess my mom never woke me and my brother up one day and we left my dad and everything we had with nothing than our pyjamas and 2-3 suitcases?

you know jackshit about me.

i dont say that being poor = unhappy. but i downright hate you to compare your situation to "not having enough to eat"-poor, to "idk where to get clean water"-poor, which i dont think you have ever experienced.

please shut up. of course its subjective, but when you are so poor that you have no clue where to get food, water, shelter, medical treatment and so on, than i would say it affects your happiness.

omg youre a tool. sry to offend you, but you have shown zero ability to see how different life is in the third world and how tough it is.

and guess what, all the psychological problems are also there, its not like they live in a dumb happy world.

I'll agree with that guy, I'v been everywhere from rich white kid to homeless for a few months, it really is all pretty relative.

Reoccurring tumors...fuck, that sounds like a serious situation. I can't imagine going through something like that.
For what it's worth, good luck with your next surgery!
To the OP: I've met some stupid people before but i don't think i've ever met someone quite as uhh... 'retarted' as you.

you just dont get it do you? doesnt matter how shitty your situation is, humans will adapt to it phsycologically, and normalize it.

shitty water, food, medicene etc becomes the norm. You ever been to a refugee camp? folks have good days and bad days. i see people smiling and laughing along with people crying and dying. We, as well-to-do people, see that and assume that everyone there is horribly depressed and miserable, when infact that is just normal life for them now.

thts why you always hear people come back from slums and shitholes talking about the unbreakable spirit of the people.

its all relative. If you have actually lived in a bad situation like you claim, you should know this. Humans normalize situations, and adapt.

Just because you deem a persons situation as "not as bad as 3rd world" doesnt mean they are feeling less bad emotionally than someone in the 3rd world.

i feel bad for you man. my advice, stop drinking because apparently that gets you into trouble. also, now that you have a ton of free time, sit on your ass and think about how to pull yourself out of this. the good thing about this point in your life is that you'll learn from it (one can only hope...). you'll come out of this and be a better person. good luck

i agree with you that it is relative. my point is that it is only to a certain point. maybe take maslows pyramid or a corresponding theory. i think you are making it too easy for yourself. maybe it is so you can sleep at night in your warm bed. not that i do anything about it, but i feel downright guilty that i have all of this.

and the gross national happiness index (0) covers a lot of things. please look it up. happiness is not as relative as you would think.

your attitude makes me sick actually. you sound like you wouldnt donate money under any circumstance because most people are happy anyways and are at worst slightly under their own level of normality. i hope thats not the case.

#######################################################

whats with all the people risking their lifes to leave refugee camps? whats with all the immigrants looking for a better option in another country. in your world there should be close to NONE immigrants (always keep in mind what the stuff implies you are saying).

#######################################################

i will give you the fact that these people have a better life in some aspects, but when it comes down to the elementary stuff (food, water, shelter, social), you cannot say that its just normal to not have them.

maslows-hierarchy.gif

-3 billion people (1) have no permanent access to clean water

-1 billion people (2) have not enough to eat

look at the following map and tell me how many people live in countries where its normal that a city with 100,000 inhabitants has over 20 murders per year?

Homicide-world.png
, btw, lol @ southern US and nunavut.

now look at the next map and tell me how nice it is to live in a country where the average life expectancy is 45 years or so? that doesnt mean that a 60 year old person is very old, just that not a lot of children survive past the first few years. it sure is a normal thing to have all your brothers die.

so A LOT of people have no chance of satisfying their first two primary needs. i am not saying maslows pyramid is perfect, but i think it gives a nice approximation to how people think. the third step might not be influenced much by the GDP of your country, but maslows pyramid is a pyramid for a reason, it says that whenever a lower level is not satisfied, you cannot satisfy a higher one. the corresponding results are that people in very poor environments have no chance of satisfying their need for self-esteem or self-actualization.

think what you want, but i am happy to have all that stuff that i need and ten times more. and if its not just happiness, i am among the few people in this world that has a future, an education and political and legal stability (on top of all the things i mentioned). i am free of religious laws and have a right to say what i want and read the newspapers i want. all that stuff is not so easy when a country is very poor, obviously.

sorry if i have offended you and now we both go on and live our lives.

and i have never said that my life was overly bad. there was obviously a reason why we would leave our home. and obviously, in my case, there was NEVER hunger nor was i homeless, so there was no reason to be unhappy. happiness is relative, YES, but only up to a certain extent of poverty.

I HOPE THAT PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY ARE HAPPY. BUT WHEN I LOOK AT THE FACTS, I AM NOT TOO SURE ABOUT IT. especially with the internet now showing them how nice it is in the western world (arab spring anyone?).

wow, you just keep missing the point. people in the US constantly move to try and make a better life for themeselves. It is human nature to try and improve ones life, whether that means putting a roof over your head, or moving to jersey to get that 6 figure job.

Humans try and improve their life because they are not happy with their current life. Every human ever has always thought the grass was greener somewhere else, otherwise we would never venture outside our city.

you keep rehashing the same argument while agreeing with what i am saying. That happiness index was developed by who? regular folks in 3rd world countries? or well to do 1st world sociologists who have a different value system than those in 3rd world country...again its all relative.

Just curiously, why do you think the suicide rate in 1st world countries is higher than 2nd or 3rd ? i have my own theory for that, but i wanna hear what someone else thinks.
