THIS DUDE IS FUCKING INSANE AT HOCKEY

I have to agree with you there, his skills are as undeniable as they are incredible. My only problem is that he's a cocky douche, I like that he hits as well as schools ass though that's pretty cool.

I'm not gonna pretend like i know hockey, but hey it was worth a shot. hahahhahaha this is the sickest i've seen though.

that was awesome, but those are shots taken over a few years and other players also have skills like that, but i will agree that is one of the best hockey players i have ever seen, what a nasty 1-timer

I also disagree, I don't care how good you are at something, or how young, that doesn't give you the right to be a cocky prick. There's nothing that impresses me more than when extremely talented people, particularly athletes, remain humble despite achieving success. Even if Ovechkin is the best young talent in teh NHL right now lets face it hockey is still but a game, in teh big scheme of things it doesn't matter how good he is he's still a douche.

Try again... This is his rookie year, which means all of those highlights are from 2/3 of the season. Cocky? I wouldn't go that far, although he is Russian, and Russians carry themselves with diffrent demeanor then Americans or Canadians.

Well, neat. But all hockey would look good if it was in slowmotion the whole time and had classic inspirational 70's rock playing in the background.

What are u talking about??? He is a rookie... frst year in nhl and all the clips he was playing for the CAPS.... thats fucking amazing he has more highlight goals in 60 games the 99% of players get in their carrier

im so nasty in gym, today my friend took a fork and put it in his arm brace and was gonna nail someone w/ it

yeah you're right that's why he's the league leader in offenseive points and 2nd in goals...he sucks right

There are plenty of better players overall and a few offensively. Jagr and Kovalchuk are both better offensively. Thornton is easily better overall, and franchise D men like Lidstrom are infinitely more valuable. And that's not even going into goalies. He's good, he's skilled, but he's not #1 and he won't be for a while... if he ever is. Wait for Crosby to really pick it up, and we'll see what happens.

^ Well yes, you can easily make that arguement using more experienced players. On the same note you can say that Lebron James isn't the number 1 player in the NBA and there are plenty of other better players than him but what I'm trying to get at is that you have to wait for the rooky players to develope before you can make such big comparisons to the rest of the league.
