my point still stands, stop complaining just to complain. Stop watching the stream in-between events, mute while they're on, play your own music in the background, etc there are so many things you can do to solve the issue.

my point is that they completely changed how they distributed their content and its awesome, but yet someone still finds something to complain about.

The jam format is terrible for events that aren’t knuckle huck and indicative of the XGames dying off as a cultural event to the general public. It’s presented as a stunt show now rather than an athletic competition with athlete profiles and studio hosts who are knowledgeable about the event.
That’s what’s been lost without the journalists and production team from ESPN. Yes it’s being aired on the networ but there’s nobody covering it for ESPN and it shows in everything from how inconsistent the replays were to how the broadcast team were reading verbatim off xgames.com, the line about Matej focusing on school came right from his profile, rather than working from notes which is the norm in broadcasting for the play-by-play guy (formerly in the industry, PA for NHL and NCAA coverage. My job was making those cheat sheets and I would have been canned for copy and pasting a whole passage from the visiting team’s media guide).
Props to the skiers, they all showed out and nobody is complaining about the actual competitions. It’s just that the production around them treated one of the best nights for the sport like it was a Division 2 college football game airing at 2am on ESPN3
