Seems like a ton of stuff is premixed. Especially main stage shows at festivals and big concerts. No risk of anything going wrong.
 
The technical issues they have had with this broadcast so far are a far cry from even approaching professional.

I think just from a journalistic standpoint the coverage on youtube or twitch was just piss poor. Like Riders Republic or Minecraft in the intermissions? Wtf, get somebody to write some pieces on the athletes and what they're about and put that in there. Then get people actually involved in the industry to discuss it and they event. Y'all know industry people they LOVE to tell stories and they got a million of them. Them potential engagement on those platforms far outweighs the money that might need to be spent. Besides they got fatty sponsors for that
 
Pipe and big air are really close to each other in timing. Did they overlap in previous years and we missed some of whichever one is later? I forget. I know we usually get basketball overlapping it.

they have big air set to be an hour, its a 30 min jam so I'm sure it'll be fine. They have run events at the same time in the past, but it was like a ski event and snowboard event, not two ski events.

these are their two premiere events for sunday night, it should be all good
 
Yo did anyone else notice Tom Wallisch calling AHall's tokyo drift a nosebutter and someone else stale grab a cuban?? This is the most viewed event in skiing and the goat himself misnaming tricks is honestly kind of a big deal. If a tokyo drift or revert is a butter than it totally undermines the difficulty of doing a butter. If a butter isnt pressed the whole trick its not a make. Same with calling a stale grab cuban. U can't just do the easier version of a trick and call it as the harder trick.
 
Y’all are tweaking Gravy and Stoney are hilarious just not the way they intended. You can’t tell me Gravy handing out a medal then singing in front of the shitty Aspen crowd instead of the usual post event stuff wasn’t funny

the under 18 crowd is pretty important for Xgames, most people on NS are 18+ lots of 25-35 and arent the target audience for xgames streams.

okay i get filling the time with stuff the streamies might like but its still weird to bait them to turn on the broadcast with winter sports then switch it to mine craft. Why not give insights to the athletes and how they got there or the course design and why/how it was made? I just feel like Xgames should be all about Xgames and the time in between events should be filled with stuff about how it came to be.

So apparently the youtube stream was the same as the twitch stream, was there a separate stream for ESPN and other cable probiders? That might explain a lot.

Yeah, hard to imagine who would want to engage with the audience of the 4th most popular game in the world. Minecraft isn't for me neither but I'm old enough to understand it's a business making business decisions, not trying to stay in the core basket of the V gang.
