The Thing About Boone is...

had to.

hm. something tells me if your skis are that fragile, there's a problem. and if it's 50/50 complaints, then it's definitely manufacturer's defect. customer service is super important if you want happy and returning customers. otherwise feel free to watch your company go down hill, so to speak. :) i don't care what an industry standard is for ripping people off, your product fucked up, they're a piece of crap, you owe him.

This is why i love NS! If every model in a companies line up is 299$ always use the search bar in NS first....boone=fail by the sounds of it...most park skiers interested in there product will most likely (i like ot think so) use the search bar above before buying there product...they will then get to this blog and disregard any thought of buying boone skis....(trust me boone i just did) you really should have just hooked liam up with at least 50% of another pair with full warranty...now no one on this site will buy your skis...which leaves you a very small protion of park skiers in NA to sell to...best of luck to liam and boone.

how does hitting a rail void a warrenty on a park ski? and my friend has the same broblem with his boones... sidewall craks, edges on the tips are falling off ... ski is falling to shit

I've got a pair of Boone powder skis that I got last year. I skied them since march (when we got 180") and almost everyday of the spring since I ended up working as a lift operator til June last year (god, if you're listening, please do that again). They got some decent abuse and were even blown by the wind into some rocks once. Despite all this, the only signs of wear they have so far are a few top sheet nicks. They're a super fun powder ski and I love them in crud and late season slush too. I haven't ridden any of Boone's park or all mtn skis so I can't comment on them, but from what I've heard they fall apart. Anyway it seems to me like the problems are mostly in the park/all mtn skis and the powder skis are solid, or maybe I just got a good pair, who knows.

Anyway, figured I'd pitch that in here.

Hey guys, realistically Boone is hit or miss. You either get really lucky, or very unlucky. I have a 2 year old pair of Magic sticks with STH 12's on them that have held up very well.

Bit of top sheet chipping but nothing much.

OH I forgot to mention, when I fall, I fall hard.

Not defending how many people Erika boone screwed over just saying my skiis have held up.

"I kinda have a problem. I absolutely loved these skis, but I only rode less than 25 days on them and they got destroyed, not good at all."

"270 off of the hip. I landed it to and it just snapped. I have no idea. I slightly knuckled the jump before it. I know. Im really mad that I had such few days on them and they snapped and the edge in the back popped too"

Lol.

Who else agrees any reasonable company would just PM or e-mail OP and give him new skis and maybe even get this thread deleted. This thread almost has 7000 views now, that's fucking horrible for Boone and they could have avoided all of this bullshit. I know I've never thought about buying Boone before but now I will not for sure. I know that they said "the skis aren't under warranty" but is that really worth losing all of your costumer support? This thread, which could have potentially redeemed Boone as decent company, set them back even further then they were before.

boone skis.....

here's what you do now.

1. Delete your newschoolers...

2. Change company name

3. have a burning of all your skis that have been made

4. try to make skis again....cause it's not working out for you.

5. If you don't follow those steps. your skis will never be bought by any newschooler. Ever.

Boone = Failed Company (try again....or improve quality)

i love how their website doesnt list the skis by models but rather by topsheet design then you choose what ski it goes on. there arent any real pictures of the skis or rocker profile if there are any

"I have Boone powder skis. You've probably never even heard of them, you can't buy them anymore"

(I actually really like them)
