you lost me on this post, the post was unnecessarily aggressive and isn't how the face of a company should react at all.

you should explain the details further, explain to us that if you team priced skis are not warrantable, but dont go and point the finger screaming about how poor liam betrayed your trust, that is just unfair.

i know that as a owner of a company, it pisses you off to see people trying to take advantage of your policies or whatnot, but try and remain calm, and resolve the situation without anger, because for right now, you lost me

 
so it's deemed okay by you to make shitty skis just because it was your first year. Look at ON3P!Quality skis since the start. Really sad to see a company lash out directly at a customer. Way to go....
 
Wow, I don't know where to start... I guess I'll start off by thanking you for the personal shout out! Really professional,I have a screen name for a reason. In regards to The Deal I received- The skis lasted 3 days, that’s not acceptable,that’s ridiculous! And what reallypissed me off, is when a Boone team member Informed me that that specific ski (Free ride magic stick) were being sold closeto nothing, due to a manufacturing defect. I kid you not, I wish I saved whatwas said but I’m sure you can all take my word for it. If you think I wouldn’t inform my fellow skiers that’s where you’rewrong. I don’t want to see anyone else spend their hard earned cash on a pairup Season Enders. I hope you know NewSchoolersis a strong community who will fight for what’s right, and boycott what’sclearly wrong. If you have any further concerns that deal with my personal business,please pm me, as I’d like to keep that out of this thread.

Nothing about your responses in this thread, Boone, has made me think any more of you. I do not know if you let interns respond to threads, such as this one, but it seemed that way when I read "Let the haters hate" from one of your comments.

Liam's obviously given your company a chance in buying a pair of your skis, be them new or old. And I find it hard to believe that he has received such a deal because of a "gift" when the skis he bought were 2 or 3 years old (or 4 years old according to when they were manufactured). I too, as owner of a company, would get rid of old stock at a lowered price, even if it only means lowering the financial loss.

The pictures also show no evidence of rail markings, even though they are not the sharpest pictures.
I've known Liam for a few years now and he had been dealing with a lot of ski issues this year because of the skis he purchased off of you. And I do recall the time when he told me that his new Boone skis broke within the first couple of days of not hitting rails. I offered him my old skis but he declined because they were too long for him. He then told me that he would just ride his broken skis until he heard from Boone, which was after he took the pictures of his sidewalls, and that was the last I had heard about all of this until now.

I do not think you have gone about defending your company's name in the proper manner. I stand behind Liam on this.
 
after reading what boone has posted, and read trough this thread, i will never buy boone skis..

Oh, and then when the company owner himself finally voices his opinion in this callout thread, his post gets removed by NS mods. No disrespect to the general NS community, but mods usually have to deal with monitoring 16 year old, immature kids, not owners of a company.
And yes, I enjoy bold as much as Boone did in their last comment.
 
After reading this thread, its clear that Boone doesn't give a fuck about their customers, to the point where they're even going to drop names and personal contact info. Very professional..Despite how unlikely I was to buy Boone before, there's no chance that I might even consider buying a pair of skis from them now.

 
i am guessing the boone owner skipped most of his business classes at his local community college. one of the most unintelligent posts i have seen on NS. why would you attack a customer over a public forum and post his personal information? regardless of whether or not you felt IMASTUPIDRETARD deserved a refund posting what you did was very unprofessional. you are lucky a mod deleted your post because i am sure the 1% of fans you have left would probably have jumped ship.

said that the ski was a 4 year old ski and that he got it for $199 which is the team price meaning the warranty doesnt apply, then posted 2 emails to the OP that showed that they were giving him a discounted price

not including boone himself, i can probably count on one hand how many people in the ski industry dont think he or his company is an absolute joke.
 
This, for me, they have always been a company not worth considering, but after reading this thread they are now a company i would tell others not to consider.

This is fucking retarded. You rode them less than a week, it shouldn't matter WHAT you were skiing on, if you're riding normally. That shouldn't happen.

I know. Your story seems real bogus to me, too. Skis should have a 30 day no matter what warranty of some sort. And for fucks sake, half of everyone and their mom skis rails, ALL THE TIME. Shouldn't void your warranty, when it's such a huge part of skiing.
 
This thread is bullshit. I have a pair of Boone skis that I'm going to get mounted this week and they're sick. The flex is awesome, they're bombproof, and they're better than my on3psss.

 
Dear Mr. Boone my partner and I run a indie ski demo business here in wasangles. We rep dps,praxis pmgear,moment were hoping to add a few more this season.

If you gave us free skis we still wouldnt carry your products not because youre a small indie that had some QC issues. that happens and is expected, but because youre coming off like a fucktard on the web.

Best of luck getting your skis on peoples feet with that visionary, unique marketing tecnique

BOONE's unprofessionalism aside, you kids have no idea what you're talking about. These company callout threads are always some teenage kid who's bitter that they broke skis and aren't covered by companies that follow standard business practices, which apparently you all fail to understand.

I don't like BOONE either, but you bitching about this is stupid. Go away.
 
That's not the point. The point is Boone makes beyond shitty and terrible skis. Their graphics are awful as well.
 
That IS the point. This kid posts and defames a company for their practices, along with their quality control. The issue with quality control is valid, sure. But defaming a company because he was too stupid to understand the terms of sale is downright bogus.

If there's any aspect of BOONE's practices that should be criticized, its his behavior in this thread, not the OP's claim that they aren't honoring their warranty.

Flame BOONE all you want, I could care less. But at least be sensible rather than blindly bashing a company because some little shit on the internet didn't listen to the conditions that came with his skis.
 
Even though the condition was set out ski's shouldn't break after three days of use. Just judging by how they responded in this thread, along with the deleted post that was beyond childish... Boone Ski's sucks balls.
 
Boone, Just think about If you guys just warrentied his skis, and how much trouble It would of saved you.
