you fuckin kiddin me? uhhhhh i dont know what you think the east is, but we have fuckin jumps. Hell i might venture to say ive hit bigger or more back country jumps in the east than you have hit or many many westerners. Its not what you think it is. Loon has had big jumps, and 4 or 5 in a row. Better than almost every western mountain ive been too when it comes to flow and lines. Okemo had a jump in the spring that was comparable to the JOI jump....... east coast superpark had a very large jump this year, 83 feet i believe. It all varies from people and its a retarded assumption from what ive seen to assume easterners are "meh" on jumps.
Other solid jump skiers, shea flynn, chris logan, eric olson, all slay jumps and have been total east coast. But with better shit they will only surpass that of what the west has to offer in talent.
The east only holds some back, once you have balls to try shit on ice then its like hittin any other jump. Now, you only hear about easterners gone west on rails because most easterners are wayyy above a good portion of western talent on rails, but as for jumps, they slay just as hard. I mean, Nick martini? he didnt get 4th in the US open for his rails skills, ill tell you that much. Phil casabon 3rd or 2nd place in us open? him neither.
