Um not really... a forester is clearly designed with higher ground clearance than a standard car to allow it to go over rougher ground. There is no point lowering a forester and removing it's main benefit. If you wanted a performance car you clearly wouldn't have bought a forrester in the first place.
If you have a street car that you take to track days etc then there is a clear benefit to lowering it a bit for increased handling.
IMO lowering a car for looks is a waste of money and is a game for rich kids with nothing better to do.
