Chris, one of the kids on the USC team, learned DOUBLE FUCKING BACKFLIPS and cork 9's on the bottom jump in main yesterday. He's going to try a double kangaroo flip today. Fucking gnar!
 
Sarah... Ninja is sooooo cute! oh man. Dave's family absolutly love TImmy, its really hard not to, he is the biggest sweetheart.....he doesnt really understand that he weighs 80 pounds though. hahah. He is all done his puppy classes now, he completed his puppy 1 and 2. Next we are going to get him into agility, but just the basic puppy class to get him into the idea, I dont really want to devote a lot of time to that, I'd rather take him out hiking and exploring the wonderful Bruce Trail system we have here in Ontario.

Stoked that if everything goes well, I'll be buying my next car tommorow.

Stoked that this weekend was a million times better than I originally thought. Lesley came down at last minute, and the pooouurrrring rain that was supposed to come, didn't. We had beautiful weather on Saturday. The rail jam was superb, over 40 kids signed up. That's a record for a us. 4 boxes and a nice 25fter. Kids were hucking themselves, and it was a great time.

...and I'm exhausted.

Stoked that my homemade slidng gloves for longboarding work! Fucking unreal to be ripping down a paved hill and to stick you hand down to slide...wooooo!

That looks really fun! Almost makes me want to get a longboard, but I like shreddin' dirt more. And I am really horrible at longboarding.
 
Just got in from a killer ride on my new bike. It was about 40 degrees out, and sunshine. The bike rides like a dream. Makes me realize how superior full suspension bikes are to hardtails when it comes to technical singletrack riding.

I was cleaning technical downhills that I always had to walk before, and making climbs I wouldn't ever have in the past.

Ugh, sooo stoked. And I get to do it pretty much every day this week as it's going to be sunshine every single day until at least Saturday.
 
I just dropped off one of my bikes to get the fork and BB rebuilt and the drivetrain all fixed up, kind of a bummer since it was 75 today. But hey, all the good trails are under 8' of snow anyway. Maybe I'll cruise to school on the DH bike haha.
 
Yah thank god for them being wrong so much! Bluebird and 50 at Mt Snow on Saturday. So much fun riding all days with friends

Pretty much in that order too. You always think you can run as fast as your riding when you jump off at high speed but you useally end up fucking yourself. Powerslides are key...hence the gloves :)

I think there is a small crew of us going out tonight to film again...wooo!

Honestly, I just want them to leave. Running our city broke and they suck every year. Last game I went to was against the Nuggets, and I witnessed the shortest player in the NBA break the record for points scored in overtime against us.
 
hey, they're only bad cause the owner ripped the team apart with the intention of losing a lot, in turn running down attendence in an effort to convince the NBA to approve the move. also, it doesn't help that the commisioner is bitter cause seattle takes half the profits from the arena deal...a deal he approved back in the day.
 
at least you guys still have a decent foot ball and baseball team, still no hockey though, which i find interesting
 
hmmm i'm looking right now, but i don't want to lease because i may be leaving the area come fall, so i'm not sure, it's up in the air at this point, maybe i'll just move in with one of my buddies, only drawback is that he's dating one of my best friends so if they break up i'll be trapped in the middle

STOKED that I found out my boy Nate is coming home from Crested Butte on the 21st! Right before my best friends 27th, we're gonna party hard. I am soooooo excited to see him!
 
Soooo stoked.

Just got word that one of the good main XC singletrack loops is dry and good to ride.

It's a 7 mile loop with some fun climbs and descents. Not a ton of elevation change, but enough to keep it exciting.
 
Had a most excellent day. Got a call from my friend early this morning. She told me a bunch of us were gonna go up to the mountain to picnic and hike. Got up there around 11:30 and met up with them. Four of the younger local boys were also there to hike. Pretty sure they went up to mid station on the triple to build a quarter pipe, same as every year. We ate some sandwiches and drank some beer, smoked some pot. Hiked up where the park normally is, everything was taken out. Tried to build a little kicker, but got yelled at. So we went into the half pipe and started there. But by that time I had to leave.

It was gorgeous, and I'm glad I hiked before I put all my shit away. Pics later.

got a kick ass homemade pizza in the oven just in time for the sox/skankees game

Been out of greenery since Monday and came across a couple of small bowl packs in a case at home.

Finally got a response from US Air and ended up receiving a free round trip ticket. They even admitted that it was their fault. tehehe must have been my last threat to address a letter to them on my lawfirms letterhead. that always works
 
just signed the lease on the house muthafuckers! come visit me, 14th and story. Even though I'm not gonna move in till beginning of august, but we can live there now. I think we're just gonna take all our shit down there and store it for the summer
 
I just got 5 different shots so I am now I only need two more shots to finish out my immunizations for Thailand and Nepal.

...whatever was in the third shot almost made me faint. It was pretty funny.
 
Me and my buddy hiked my local hill a week after they closed last year and built a good sized booter and sessioned for a few hours.

It was super fun. It really is a great way to end the season.
 
Just back from a killer ride on the singletrack XC loop here. Very dry. Awesome sun, 60 degrees out.

I'm getting spoiled with all this sunshine.

Soooooooooo stoked right now.
