just pre-ordered my Moment Reno Rockers and some Marker Jesters for next season, now i just need new boots
 
I went in to go to physical therapy knowing that my usual guy was on vacation and I'd be working with someone else. What I didn't know is that the person they were putting me with redefines the term cougar. Scoooooore.

I'm also stoked that my douchebag neighbor's POS motorcycle got pwn3d by the snowplow last night.
 
haha, it keeps snowing. like 15 inches a day. stoked on that, but seriously, lets get summer moving here. I wanna bike!
 
You're not going to be riding shit if you leave when school is over. If the weather warms up soon Sypes Canyon and maaaaybe Truman Gulch will be clear by finals week...but probably not. Most of the trails won't be rideable until mid-late june at the earliest, with Hyalite clearing out around the beginning or middle of july.
 
My mantises came! The lady shipped 8 instead of the 6, very cool! These guys only have a body length of like 1 cm, tiny tiny, but they'll get bigger. They're really friendly, not scared of being held at all and love crawling everywhere. One in fact got onto the ceiling of the terrarium and got stuck to some duct tape I had around the light =( poor little guy, couldnt get him off. Spent the last half hour resealing the tank with saran wrap on the inside covered in duct tape on the outside so we dont have a repeat incident.

These guys are sooooo tiny. They're eating fruit flies like crazy, they hang upside down and snatch them whenever one gets near, via chance or feeding them with tweezers. Haha, I'm gonna play with them more when I get back from work. Pictures soon!
 
Awesome video

Stoked that $400 and 2hrs work and my truck now has an exhaust system again, as opposed to the remains of the original one. Little hard work goes a long way to getting stuff done on your own.

Yeah, that's one of the major downfalls about biking around here. You aren't really riding until late June or July and it's great for two weeks, then it's dusty until October.

I'll bet my dad's pissed that UNC lost to KU (even though UNC was his rival school in college, haha), but I'm also glad that Kansas came back for the win against Memphis. Woo!
 
haha, it was too soft to really throw down on the second jump, too high of consequences to risk catching an edge spinning switch off it.
 
Calgary won! And as a result I will be at the exact same table in the same restaurant ordering the same thing wearing the same thing because of it. Not exactly by choice (gf is extremely superstitious) but I don't really care. It was a hell of a game.
 
I just made chili. I've never made chili before, so I hope it's super delicious. It looks pretty...I added a ton of fresh vegetables, just a few beans.

Maybe my next venture will be vegetarian chili. I seem to like it better than regular chili.

Yum. Who wants to come over for chili?
 
hehehe...just did a sampling of my chili...its fricken fantastic! (if i do say so myself).

tofu....ok i will make the veggie one with tofu. that in itself will be an experiment. ive only eaten tofu a couple of times, ive liked it, but ive never cooked with it. first times for everything!!

 
cooking with tofu is super easy and really good for you. the great thing about tofu is that it basically absorbs the flavors from the other foods you're cooking with it. if you want some quick recipes whenever just pm me
 
actually....i just bought a giant roast of beef. to be cooked at a later date, and not by myself, as i usually horribly overcook roasts of beef. i love meat.

i also like tofu.
 
Actually, we just cut chunks off the cow at random. That's why there's fields full of them all over the place, it's more convenience rather than economics. I won't go into the sheep thing....

What's tofu?
 
I wouldn't dare wreck a good chili with tofu. We've been doing deer chili all winter, last time we tried it with cut up deer steaks rather than ground. My gf didn't like it cause there were big chunks of meat in it. WWWHHHAAAAATTTTT?? How can you not like big chunks of steak, so for drew and ajay I promptly showed her the stairs.
 
make chili with "ground round". it's tofu that has the consistency of ground beef. you won't be able to tell the difference. even my dad can't, and he is extremely against tofu.

it snowed almost 2 feet here in calgary today. ridiculous.

and alex, what are you doing cheering for the flames? what kind of canucks fan are you? always cheer against the flames!
 
got an unidentified package today which contained a butload of NS stickers and a studio 411 video pack...woo!
