I know its stupid that Simon won but u gotta think about this way. he new when he came in the comp its all about crowd pleasing and thats what e did. Ya Jon and PK were alot better but dumont played it smart and finally got himself another gold.
 
the x games big air voting is the biggest shit show in the world. everyone knew going into it the dumont was gonna win and its only cuz of the fact he is american and only people in the united states can vote. such bullshit double front is so dumb. even mike douglas agrees "the double front was the biggest trick back when it was first done in the 1960s"
 
that was the worst thing ive ever witnessed, but in my opinion you cant blame simon. it isnt his fault that most of the viewers are idiots. he knew exactly that he did not deserve to move on over pk in the first place

Dumont did what the crowd wanted in a crowd-judged event. I also believe PK should have won but we shouldn't hate on Simon because he won.
 
I was watching it with my roommates who dont ski and snowboard and they both wanted Dumont to win.. I told them, all the skiers are going to vote for jon and everyone else dumont because dumont played it smart, he pleased the crowd, no one understand what jon just did...

that big air thing was probably one of the worst thing for our sport. dumont is the first one to be guilty for it, what he just did is one more reason for people to hate on him. he is ruining freesking
 
word. no it wasn't simons fault its a gay comp. yes it is simons fault he threw 2 gay as fuck tricks. if you're gonna win anyway, at least have some fucking humility and do something for the sport.

Fuck X GAMES. We need more Dew Tours. This is the most embarasing thing ever to happen to skiing. Simon isnt going to accept the medal or prize money. Bad move for skiing. Screw the x games, ridiculous.

No hate on jon but he pretty much threw kangs in every big air for like 3 years. Dumont knew what would win so he did it, if you were him you wouild do the same thing and want to win. Why wuld he feel guilty for that? He didint vote for himself

Semis:

Jon over Jacob.

Jon stomped both tricks, and trumped Jacob in difficulty. Plus, Jacob did the trick that Jon did to win last year...it doesn't seem right going with Jacob. Both had typical Swede style...clean. The people got it right.

PK over Simon.

PK just absolutely killed it. He landed what was an off-axis sw 12 (Douglas called it a dub cork...debatable) with a trick-long mute. Simon did a flawless dub superman front and a slightly slid out misty ten mute. Oh yeah...he did tricks on the in-run. Guess which one? Yes, a frontflip. The guy knows how to play to a crowd, he's a "name" and he's American. Guess who won?

Finals:

Jon over Simon.

Listen I'm not a huge fan of Jon's style but he won. Come on. If you watched this...I don't need to say anything. We can't have tricks like that win the "biggest" contest of the year.

Anyways, obviously SImon won by a landslide. Big ups to Simon for the V. It's good he was able to take one for Riley.

Dumont threw a ten against PK that was a misty. The angle from above made it look like a cork. I had to watch it again, but I'm pretty sure it was a misty 10 high mute.
