bringing this back cuz shisha is bomb. my bro has a hookah with 4 hoses and he just stocked up with a whole box of coals. and like 10 tins of starbuzz acid. gunna be a good summer.

 
post a pic when your done with it... my friend is gunna do some shit to his sometime this week. do you know what works on em? like spray paint? we have been trying to figure this out for like a month now
 
starbuzz is a lot better than al fakar. IMO but i havent had al wahar.

starbuzz was so smooth and lasted twice as long as al fakar for me... really good shit. so id recommend starbuzz
 
i have two..got the first one in egypt which was kinda a piece of shit..but bought it for what would be 10 bucks USD and got second one for 30 in nyc..its kinda small..one tube but it you hit a button and the mid section between the bowl and the base glows/flashes bright blue..its pretty dope..
and for flavors hands down either strawberry..or i got a mixed tropical fruits blend flavor..
 
i was just goin use spray paint and see what happens im just goin do the bowl part and do other parts through out the summer

oh and does anyone here not know the milk trick?
 
putting milk in the vase supposedly makes the smoked thicker. I've tried it, and it didn't do ANYTHING for me other than bubbling up and getting in the hoses. Gross
 
yeaaaa it made the smoke thicker for us and yea it does make the hoses gross. we just wash em when were done. everyone helps out by cleanin em real quick. but we only do it once in a while.
 
dont use milk that is retarted. and grape mint is tooo nice. with regards to weed if u dont use at least a g it is a waste. just grind it up fine and spread it over the top makes for a great smoke
 
havent had grape mint. and yea with like 4 ppl we usually do like 1.5 g's but thats not too often cuz most of the time everyone has to drive home and i kno id rather not drive when high. i play it say when it comes to driving
 
does anyone know anything about herbals? I bought a hookah for a party i had and while i do enjoy the buzz, i cant get over the fact that is probably fucking up my lungs, although im sure weed is doing that anyways
 
Herbal shisha is shit. I don't get a buzz from it. Tabacco shisha is the only good shisha there is no point smoking it unless it's tobacco
 
I've had my hooka for like 8 months now but I regret to say that I've only used it a few times since then. Bought it used from my friend for the low price of $25. Only smoked a few flavors, Right now i've got strawberry and I like it. Haven't smoked many dirty bowls, want to try that more. The only thing is that if ive got weed I'd rather smoke a bong or a blunt.

I've got some questions too tho cuz i wanna start smoking my hooka more.

-What are the best flavors? Any other than fruit?

-Do dirty bowls get you as keyed as just smoking the weed plain?

-When you put foil over the top, do you do two layers? I do. Don't know why i just always done it that way.

-How do you get the bowl to burn evenly? I always end up kinda scorching the shisha in the center and the shisha farther toward the rim is barely even burnt. How fat should you pack the bowl in the first place?

I'll post some pics of my hooka some time... dont wanna get it out and set it up right now. Its nothing special though.
 
fantasia is my brand of choice, and just straight grape is my poison. im down to blaze out a hookah cuz you get straight ripped but never out of mine, shit fucks with the hoses pretty bad, and id rather not jack mine up
 
Might get one for my 18th birthday.... how much do they cost in the actual piece and all the other stuff?

Then its a matter of:

Nice hookah - $80

Cheap small hookah you'll break or knock over and ruin many floor - $40
 
I honestly don't do dirty bowls. But I'm biased and NEVER mix weed with tobacco.

Flavors are all up to you.
Not IMO
If it's thin foil, I usually do 2 layers. If it's Heavy Duty foil I only use 1 layer.

IMO, dirty boles don't get me as high as a bong would.

For the bowl, place the charcoals (3 coals max) around the LIP of the bowl, not the center. Every 5 mins or so shift the coals to a new part of the foil.

When packing the bowl, lightly sprinkle the shiha in the bowl, and then pack down a tiny bit. Do this until it's flush with the lip of the bowl.

Right now ive got small circular ones that are self igniting. Kind of contact lens shaped.

Ive heard that the square ones are better. thoughts?
 
Yes, it matters. Ditch the quick lights except in mobile mode, if you have a stove with burners, get some coconut coals or wood coals for hookahs. Done use BBQ coals or charred wood, FUCK.

And get a screen ASAP instead of foil. Healthier, foil burns and releases chemicals when it gets real hot, and you'll forget the foil at some point, easier to have a screen or plate with holes in it that you keep with all your gear.
 
And the square ones covered in what looks like silver foil are the WORST FUCKING COALS ever. They taste like shit, leave weird suspicious residue... just no.
 
Ye I wanna get the Coconara coals ive heard they are the best. The only thing tho is I usually wouldn't be lighting it on a stove... at least not at my [parent's] house. Is it tough to light with a normal lighter? What about one of those jet flame lighters?
 
My experience with hookahs is that they are way cooler when you are younger than 18. Also, lots of college houses (including mine) think it would be a great idea to get a hookah, they use it 3 times, and then it just takes up space for the next few years. The one that we have belonged to the kids that used to live at our house, they just didn't feel like taking it with them. I don't know, once they stopped being illegal for me to use the really lost their appeal. Sitting around for 45 minutes smoking hookah until you realize you inhaled way too much nicotine just doesn't do it for me.
 
If you have a stove with coils, then by all means get Coconara! If you don't, you COULD use a torch, but it would still take a while. And as Ginko said, if you have a stove for backpacking, that will work. Something like this
