This thread's sole purpose is so we can all express our hatred of this disgusting, utterly lifeless state. I hate living here, I hate skiing here, and I will be leaving as soon as I possibly can. Most of the people in Ohio are hicks (especially Southern Ohio, good fucking lord it's vile) and there are 3 major cities that exist for absolutely no reason at all. Columbus is a ghetto, Cincinnati is full of retarded Mexican fucks, and Cleveland is possibly the worst city in the United States.

However, Victoria's Secret was started by an Ohio man, and goddamn I'm grateful he did.

My thoughts go out to the other Newschoolers that have to share this repulsive state with me... feel free to post below!

Ohio is disgusting..The fuck pine trees which are made for winter, snow, and just bullshit weather are dying here in Ohio! Absolutely horrible state..Cincinnati is fun if you smoke crack, Cleveland reeks of shit, and Columbus is boring..But on the good side..Ohio knows how to party we don't have fun stuff to do other than drink and smoke weed..Also having lots of fertile land = HUGE grow operations..You'd be surprised at Ohio bud..! I hate Ohio!

I'm glad I'm from Ohio, I've lived and traveled all over the world and to tell you the truth I'm glad I spent the past 3 years here (and growing up). Columbus is such an awesome city. The people are great and there is so much to do. Yeah you can't really ski here, but I'm glad I grew up at a hill with 150 vertical. I learned to love skiing, not just on a huge mountain, but even on a tiny hill with man made snow. The nicest people I've ever met are from the midwest and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Just wait till you guys get older. Yeah I'm moving away again soon, but Ohio will always be home and I will always be proud to be from here.

This is true! I'm talking about landscape wise Ohio is bad!! But yes you have a point! People here are great! Skiing in the midwest stokes me because everyone realizes this is the worst of the worst and just go with it! I just would rather be in Colorado dropping cliffs and in the summer hiking around and jumping into quarries..Ohio sucks, but People from Ohio rock!
 
I have to disagree erika... every dude in Ohio dresses solely in Monster and Osiris merchandise, and drives his lifted truck everywhere with his dirt bike in the back... there's basically no culture at all, like you would find in NY, SF, LA, or elsewhere
 
Apart from some nice areas, like Cuyahoga county, New Albany, Dublin, and Granville (where I live) Ohio is nasty
 
Dayton has a lot of preppy dressed people! I am fine with that! But @C3PO No matter where you go people will wear that stuff..Once again I'd rather be in Colorado
 
I hate this place. BW has been good this year but I can't ski anymore because I tore my acl and mcl a few weeks back

You've obviously never been to Columbus. There is an obscene amount of culture here from clintonville, to campus to the super trendy short north. Go to comfest in the summer. Gallery hop every month. Awesome unique restaurants. Go down towards hocking hills and there's some sick caverns to hike around in. They're opening up a free ski park on the east side of columbus.

Take a moment to not focus on the shittiness and focus on the cool things Ohio has to offer.

 
it only sucks because you let it. i grew up in south eastern indiana. not shit going on, but it most def did not suck, because we were rad and mad it kickass. so i think you suck, not ohio. cinci rocks too, you just dont seem to be able to handle it
 
I drove through the entire state one time on my way to climb in kentucky, and all i remember is how shitty and flat it was. like what the fuck do people do for fun in ohio?

the only good conribution ohio has made to sociiety is that the movie "airborne" was filmed in Cinncinati on devils backbone.

Yea so the weather in Ohio blows, but other than that I disagreed with everything you said. Pretty much none of those people exist where I live, in fact I love the vibe of this city. All I wish for is some better public golf courses, and better weather.
