The Official 'I Hate Ohio' Thread

Ohio is not that bad. Problem is, its not that great either.First thing I must say. I have made lots of good friends at Mad River. Lots of good people come here. Also, for only 300 vertical ft. Mad River gets an A+ for what they do with such limited terrain. That being said; it is time to go back west. Real mountains. My heart is set on Idaho this time around. I will miss all the cool people I know at MRM, but I am really thinking it is time to move on.

 
It is. Extremely bad cops. Awful place to drive through with plates for another state.

The cities in Ohio really aren't that bad they just don't have any redeeming culture to offset the shittiness.

Granville ranks 34th out of 1,065 Ohio towns ranked by per capita income. I didn't say it was the nicest or richest, but it's certainly not poor.

When I stopped in a super 8 in maumee ohio everyone there was nice and when I stopped into the gas station in the same town everyone was nice. I would not want to live in ohio though, its way too flat.
 
I don't hate Ohio. Most of the state is pretty boring, but there are nice areas. This is where I spend a good portion of the summer:

I used to think cedar point was cool, but now i get motion sickness. But hey, ohio is where a lot of your food comes from and southern ohio starts to get not boring.
 
Your OP is absolutely retarded but Ohio does suck. I lived in Cincinnati for 10ish years and there are very few mexicans. It is a very upper middle class white republican area and that is why I hated it. Toledo is by far the worst place in Ohio. Ohio has come along in the time I have lived here. From Dayton to Cincinnati, the standard of living is very good. Good value for your money, safe and rated highly on many lists.Ohio does suck and really sucks for skiing, but you are a bit out of line and racist with your OP.
 
Everyone is giving you a lot of shit about this but.... I fucking hate it too. I finally got outta that state after growing up there and I can guarantee i will never go back. Even spending 3 months over the summer in cleveland almost killed me.
