The infamous "oh shit..." feeling.

Haha. I remember my first year of riding twin tips, it was the best powder weekend of that year, and still remains one of the best even though I have improved so much since then. We had a ghetto snow X course setup and my friend and I were like: "Okay, we're going to go into the first berm and use it as a jump." We went into it thinking we had the perfect speed, maybe even a little slow, we didn't. I went off right behind my friend, and I said to myself: "I better not follow him off, something's about to go wrong." Sure enough, we were 13ft. up, then we dropped straight to flat ground coated with about 3-4 feet of fresh (thank god). That was the first time I ever had the "oh shit" feeling on skis. We got up and were laughing so hard, it was truly awesome.

Worst feeling ever, 180 to watch the landing dissapear out in front of you as you continue to fly backward and still upward. Worst shinbang I ever got/ wind knocked out.

hhahaha this thread is classic.
my most memorable o shit moment was bombing the whole hill to hit the money booter and discovered in mid-air that they had made the jump 20 feet shorter the week before...

I tend to tell myself im just going for a speed check on a new big table but then decide when im rolling up that it feels good so i go for it. This works about 90% of the time. One time i was "just" speed checking a big 75 footer and decided it would be good to go once i was rolling in, but wind decided to gust super hard in my face right on the lip. I didnt have enough time to bail. Before i was even off the lip all i could see in my head was me plowing teeth into my knees while bouncing hard square on the knucle, and guess what! It happened.
Now that same story has happened numerous times but with the overshoot outcome. ugh

im a big fan of when you are just cruzing and something catches and you know your going to eat it, its like shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit then you fall over and look like an idiot.

or when your about to eat it on a rail, thats worse than a jump, sholder to metal hurts
