to bad your flat out wrong. pretty much opposite end of the spectrum wrong. tele bindings are nothing like alpine. yea, my springs are super stiff because i like to charge and go fast.
but no spring on the market keeps your boot close to your ski like an alpine does. when you think about it, yea, you gotta use some muscle to turn, but say landing switch...a simple spring is not going to hold 160lbs on the heel of your binding. that absolutly ridiculous. retarded actually.
compared to the strength of your legs and quads...those springs are fucking soft. there nothing. then add weight. you have weight and muscle working against you.
another thing. duh, you never see guys in the park drop a knee. why would they...? obviously, if theyre skiing tele, they like skiing all mountain and turning. people dont buy a tele setup just to go and ski park. if you see any tele park skiers out there, you can bet your ass they rip the rest of the mountain.
and i respect your last sentence haha. i ragged on you. whatever. teleing is sick, and i think guys who venture into the park desrve some credit. granted, its not exactly there place, but its fun to dick around and shit. its not easy by any means, and neither is alpine. but comparing tele to alpine bidnings just cus of the springs...youd need like iron or lead springs.
