hey guys. i realize non of you are doctors (yet...i have faith in you!) but does anyone know how long after taking some tylenol 3s i should wait to drink? my semi is tommorrow.

i will prob go sober but hey...its my last year of highschool...

thanks alot

i was looking for an answer not a smart ass remark. next time at least try and make it help a little

thanks bigwhitesteeze ill keep that in mind

Just try and have the two be as far apart as you can make it, if you start to feel really messed up after only one or two drinks you should stop drinking immediately...

But you'll probably be fine.

well, whatever it says example: 2 capsules every 8 hours" after eight hours, it will wear off and you should be fine to drink

yeah all it does is thins your blood, so you will get drunk faster, id give it a few hours. shouldnt be a huge deal.

yah it's crazy when i went to germany cheap ass kids would take acetominophen or tylenol or whatever i can't remember exactly what while they were drinking so they would get way more fucked up. and they did it habitually too, not just once in a while. the kids were german btw.

Well there ya go........if i have read it correctly he is tryying to ssay that it is fine to drink and take t3's at the same time....my point of viewww

you could probably do it right after and be fine since it's only once but if you can 8 hrs. is best. my dad does it all the time and he is still fine, well his liver probably isn't but he doesn't really care...

one time i ones all day cause i had a heasd ache. that night without thinking went out drinking. had four shots and was FUCKED. i was in a hotel and ended up falling down some stairs at right next to an emergency fire hose and passing out. when i woke up i thought it would be cool to turn the tap on and see what happens. next thing i know im covered in gross black liquid (im guessing just old water stained form the pipes) and so is the wall and carpet. also i think i may have only been in boxers, i know for sure i didn't have a shirt on. so moral of the story t3's would only be worse

Are you really that stupid to listen to all these people? A lot of these guys have no idea what they are talking about. Mixing most common over the counter painkillers and alcohol aren't that bad for you. Ibuprofen isn't too bad for example. However, I would not try drinking Tylenol-3's and Alcohol. Tylenol-3's have codeine in them which can cause serious complications with alcohol. Just because it says to only take 2 or whatever every 8 hours DOES NOT meant it is out of your system. It can be in there longer. If you are worried about it, don't do it. Personally I would never mix hardcore painkillers like codeine or vicodin with alcohol. Not worth the liver damage.

That's probably from drinking the 6 pack not the ibuprofen's. I drink and take ibuprofen all the time, it doesn't have a negative effect. They 'say' it can irritate the liver but that's about it.

the thing about pain killers is that it just takes way less to get you drunk after you take them. you could be like 4 shots deep and be pretty saucy. just tone it back and you'll be legit.

man, when i had my wisdom teeth out i was on oxycontin and i drank a 6 pack. that was a fun night. and i'm still alive.

i think you mom's coworker had high colesterol.
