T-Hall or T-Wall?

oh, believe me, they care. this is NS people, the second you start assuming people dont care is when feelings get hurt, and that takes a lot longer to heal than some broken ankles.
 
if their nicknames weren't so damn close to each other this question would be asked WAY less often because you couldn't say t-hall or t-wall.

that should tell you something.

If go to the first page, at about 2/3rds the way down somone says "Um, I'm pretty sure the T-Wall thing is just a phase everyone is going through..."

hall brought the sport to another level, wall starts at that level plus add some new style. i think wall reaches more skiers active in communities like newschoolers because hes younger... as hall will be 30 in a few years, i cant imagine him dressing up like wall or harlaut..

i feel like wallisch kills it way more in current day, but doesn't have any of the same legacy that hall does, if you get what im saying.

im not too old so i wouldn't know that much about any of tanners old stuff. but from the sound of it, and from what i HAVE seen, the reputation is backed up. and thats what tom doesn't have on tanner.
 
you just cant compare them, their styles are so different, as well as their backgrounds.
Tanners a legend and has helped skiing in huge ways and has influenced it for so long now and is still progressing and killing it in all aspects of skiing.
Wallisch is still a fairly underground skier who fucking kills it in the park but he is pretty much as far from Tanner's riding as you could get.
 

i know that t hall is a great skier. i just dont like him. i mean no hate i just dont understand his style. i think the era of t wall is coming. so watch out.
 
For those who prays for t-wall: GUYS, YOU SUCK!!!

Tanner is the best of the best, and will be known as best forever. As M. Schumacher does.

This thread is just stupid..

Tanner was and is the pioneer of freesking as we know it.. ever since i clicked into my first pair of skis he has been my role model..

Hall is on his own level and yeah wallisch is good, but I don't think he does or will ever have anything on Tanner.

All you people saying wallisch must be either 14 or you're just straight ignorant. Without Tanner skiing would be nowhere near where it is today, can you say ARMADA?
 
Until Tom Wallisch starts dominating mountains, as opposed to parks/urban, he will be miles behind T-Hall.

Tanner grew up in Montana. He always claimed to be a better big mountain skier than people gave him credit for being. In the last few years he has proved it, and made some huge strides.

Until Tom Wallisch destroys some big lines he does not even belong in the same area code as T-Hall.

 
the Tanner hall era will never die... he is still the best over all athlete right now

tanner did a lot of thing for the industry espcially starting armada, making movies and for sure being the BEST athlete.

yes tom wallisch IS SO HOT RIGHT NOW but stop comparing him with tanner hall

yeah t-hall is a legend and made skiing what it is today and t-wall is just adding some style and new aspects to what tanner already started
 
Nothing against Tanner, but I was never really one of his fans. I wasn't the one idolizing him, just like everyone did and like everyone is with Tom. I like the skiing of both, but I think Tom has a better attitude. I like both, but I think I am starting to like Tanner more than I have before.

tanner was probably one of the best skiiers out there, and i have to say the same for tom, but still its not really a contest, there styles are completely different
