Surface Noise.

With a convex base like the LAB its pretty much inevitable that you'll have to tune them the old fashioned way, by hand. We have repaired some nasty core shots on them and it wasn't really that big of a deal.

Other than the actual shape of the ski.. the No Time is really an entirely new ski. We have increased the overall core profile dramatically, added full carbon bands from tip-to-tail, pushed the contact points out towards the ends of the skis, added a much more durable top sheet material, added a small 2mm rollover mini cap and added the rubber floor mats on this ski as well.

i got a question!

you guys make a lot of stiff powder skis, i've really liked skiing my ep pro's and hellbents, but never really tried a stiff AND rockered powder ski. (just a stiff normal camber powder ski which i couldnt stand) not saying theres anything wrong with it, but what is your reasoning for only (for the most part) offering stiff powder skis and not a soft flexy jibby option? just curious, cause i could see you guys making an awesome soft BC jib ski.

Good question - thanks for asking. Until now we've really only wanted stiffer skis, just personal preference for us I guess. Something about rocker skis flapping and chattering all over the place drives us nuts. However, we've had a rad little backcountry jib style ski in the oven but just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

We don't have anyone selling skis there but we ship goods over there all the time so let us know and we can get you shipping quotes and work with you to make it realistic. Thanks man!

When the companies eight times your size that claim to be "innovators" try to mimic you then you must be doing something right.

But on a positive note we're dropping a little edit with Forster Meeks and Ian Wade shredding Brighton on the One Time's... Should be fun.

Sick I saw the pic on Instagram and I was like shitttt they're gone. Are you doing blanks again next year? In my opinion they're the sickest graphic of any ski out there, just plain and simple

Hey guys!

Hope everything is going well in SLC.

Just wanted to chime in and say my favourite skis I've ever been on have been the Live Life 2s. If this ski existed in it's exact form again, I'd get a pair. The newer pow skis are good, but I prefer something a little softer. I skied a pair of LL2s for more than 225 days. I hope everyone realizes how incredibly bonkers that is. They're still rideable but a bit softer than I'd like and finally starting to delam at the tip and tail.

Thats badass their still holding strong. I loved that original model too. Have you skied the Live Life? Its softer than the current One Life by a bit.... ??

I've got a pair of 184 One Lifes that are in very, very good condition. Mint yo! I would trade them in person with someone for a pair of Live Lifes in 181. I live in Toronto but will be in Whistler and Banff most of the season.

Despite you saying Surface doesn't mean anything, I know this to be false. I know you want to hide the truth. Surface was purchased in 2005 by Micheal Schneider from an elderly Italian man, known as Antonio Surface. Antonio is the estranged younger brother of Gianni Versace that was banished from the family after scoffing at his older brother's silvery shiny ascot. To avoid further disappointment, the family forced Antonio to slightly change his name to Surface and spend the rest of his days living in the family's ski chalet in the Italian alps. It was there where Antonio discovered his true calling, hand making skis. Much like his older brother challenged Italian fashion, Antonio challenged the stale paradigms of skiing. Although K2 and Line are generally considered to have pioneered rocker technology in skis, it was actually Antonio Surface who did so, years before. After the sale of Surface Skis, Antonio disappeared. Some believe he was tired of living in the bustling town of Livigno and now lives in a secluded hut in the Alps. Some believe he is actually Donatella Versace, running his late brother's fashion brand. Some believe only Micheal Schneider knows for sure.

Or, at least, that's what I tell people on chairlifts when they ask "What kind of skis are those?"

Right now we are putting the finishing touches on the LAB 002 which is a proper park ski... Stay tuned for more info on that soon.

NICE! are your lab skis just coming out whenever you happen to finish developing them? or will you release them yearly like everything else?

Really Interested about the new lifes. I have heard from a friend that told me that they are super fun but the durability is a little weak. Do you guys do warrenties for extended times?

How long is the effective length on the One Time? Why do you only make one size? I feel like it would ski like a 140cm ski but it intrigues me.

The New Life's are bomber...your friend is high. We produce hundreds of them a year and rarely see any come back. And the type of customer that buys the New Life's normally charges super hard no matter where they ski.

We have a 1 year warranty on all MFG related issues...

i did that exact thing and today was my first day on them. holy what a change. these skis in my opinion are soo much better in every way than the afterbangs. swingweight is less, overall weight is less, the flex is better and the ski has more pop, the width of it, etc. switch to the blanks and i almost guarantee you'll be glad you did! sick ski surface!

what length one life would you reccomend for someone 5'10, using it for pretty much everything, park, powder, messing around everywhere? im leaning towards 179 cause 189 will be huge for park.
