Surface Noise.

so i LOVE my '11 skdy live lifes for everything when the snow is soft on the east coast. I was wondering what you guys would suggest for a smilar feeling, slighly more playful ski for the inevitable icy days and for the park.

Let me just say this again, I adore my drifters. They're wonderful in the fresh stuff, maneuverable in the trees and not too bad on the groomer. The flex is great, and the shape is borderline perfect. But the bases, they're sturdy and strong but if they were sintered they would be perfect inbounds powder ski.

the couple of runs I got on my new lifes before I fractured my spine I didn't even really notice the difference but I did wax the shit out of them the night before. A very well maintained extruded base should not give you that much of a difference in speed. Obviously a sintered base will hold more wax and go faster but if your not racing and you wax your skis often an extruded base is a fine option.

Thank you very very much for hooking me up with the discount code for all the freeski brand products that made me very happy getting an email reply on my sponsorship edit attempt. You guys are hands down my favorite company, keep doing what your doing!

Thanks, Weston

Do you have a catalogue of your new models for next year? so I can do some researching? / anywhere to demo out here in the Mitten?

Quick question: I'm looking to pick up a pair of telescoping poles, I've been using a pair of joysticks in the park and they've definitely made me waaaaaay radder skier, so I'd like to stick with the brand. I took a quick look at the joystick/surface website but I couldn't tell which poles are telescopic. If you could enlighten me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I had the OG LL2's when they first came out in a 179, loved them to death but they were a lil sketchy being i was 6'1'' and the rocker was redic. never really felt comfortable hitting anything over 30'. Scooped up some 12' one lifes ($125 why the fuck not right?) in a 189. Rode them everyday this season on the Eastcoast and never had more fun on a pair of sticks. bitches were light and easy to toss around. i would easly have paid more for them now. Rode these bitches hard and have 0 complaints.

Fuck Yeah Surface

Hey i called up warranty and they told me i could get any pair of skis for 100$ with shipping. I was wondering which would be better for me. I am jib skier, i do some jumping and i have been beast mode at it but i would prefer a jibbing ski. I ski at tremblant quebec so its mainly groomer with some pow. May you give me some ideas please :)

I thought you were unhappy with yours.

I love mine, not a jib ski unless youre a big dude. Definitely an all mountain destroyer

Well here is the thing the first day I came out if the lodge from lunch and something happened to my tail and top sheet chipped up but I epoxied it and it was all good. I took them to CO and realized how good of a ski they really are since I live in Wisc with tiny hills. I would really recommend them

Hey guys i love love love my surface no times. Unfortunately the edge has started completely peeling away from the base after only 4 months of use. The de-edge is about 1 foot long underfoot and is not ripped out simply seperated from the base because of a lack of epoxy I believe. What should i do about this?

so iv been coming into the shop since i started skiing about 3 years ago getting your skis. i love the double times, but they are not very durable(although the price kinda makes up for it and you guys always help me out). but mine broke again this season at the end so i went and got a pair of 4rnts and i noticed how much more playful they are and they are an older ski 2010 tnks, but i just feel like now that while your park skis are fun they just seem kinda dead. but your pow skis and everything else are pretty on point.

I got the joystick these skis during the sale, I've loved them thus far. They are everything I could have wanted from a jib / all mountain ski especially at the price.

Only one problem...I skiied two days at the same hill, same park and for the same amount of time on them. I pretty much only hit rails those days. Between the two days, i did change which ski going on which foot just to balance it out.

After that, I looked at each skis left edge underfoot, where most of the gripping/scissoring happened on rails. One ski's edge was completely dented in, something I would have expected maybe after a season or two of riding. It seems that the edge was riding up into the ski and alot of it had disappeared already

The second ski's edge was still fine, regular wear and tear that I expected after skiing rails. Manufacturers defect perhaps?

Getting One lifes for next season, should i go with the 179 or 189? im 5'9 and will ride them in the park. thanks!

We are loading the car and heading up to Hood this week to shred the glacier, float down the river, see friends and enjoy being alive.

Who's gonna be in Hood this month?
