yeah for an original trick that was only possible from a non-stair side kicker... you don't have a broader outlook on urban, you're just more ignorant to it, you stupid fuck.
 
1.Shovel the stairs

2.Kicker maximum the half of the hight of the handrail and always built it in front of the stairs. Never outside. If it's not on your side, you do it lip ou unnat; and if you can't do that-->go back in the park and train those hings or do it and don't put it in any edits. Kicker inside : it's an unwritten rule

Lips are only allowed on inside of the stairs for urban rails.
 
no disrespect to any of the finalists this year but i feel like in years past the talent pool has been much deeper and to the kids bitching about wanting to see "real" skiing in an edit, this contest is to win a spring park shoot not film a bc segment. if you dont like it, dont watch it
 
First of all, take of those nostalgia glasses, can't see shit, captain!

Secondly, it's not just about a park shoot anymore as we saw how they handled it last year with Imlach.
 
Oh, people are saying he's thirteen. I guess it's kinda a novelty then.

If he's really only 13, that's sick that he's skiing as well as he is, although I still don't think that he should be a finalist.

 
its not being close minded its doing things right. jumps on from the outside of staircases look stupid and takes away the legitimacy of the feature. if you cant hit the rail from that side then go find a new rail.
 
People in this thread just don't get it. It does, indeed, fucking matter how the lip is set up.

Then go build a ride-on urban rail and see how much respect that gets you. It's a matter of difficulty, not of freedom. The finalists of this contests should be the best at what they do and if they need to build sissy lips onto rails then they should get more comfortable on rails.

"Entrants must be the best at what they do to even try."
