remember last year's winner? huge sack of talent spread all over the piece.
 
I wish Tim Mcchesney entered this year, he has been a finalist the past 2 years and I think he definitely would have won against this field.
 
My pics are austin toriven, max morello, and ced dp. I think Morello's going to win though, he has so much style and kills big urban handrails.

And whoever was talking about tim, hes beyond SU, he's gonna have the best urban segment this year, out of any movie.
 
I think it was Alex Bellemare who should have won last year, but whatever it's the past ... you'll see him in the next level 1 film
 
You've got to consider size of features hit and at least some level of diversity in the riding.

I don't think there is a way either ced of max could win simply based on the rail focused nature of their edits, even if they are revolutionary.

I'm going to have to give my pick to either yan or ben based on the creativity and size of their urban, this fills the Casabon Henrik void to some degree.

Out of the two, I'm going to have to go with Benoit, simply based on his jump game. Level 1 doesn't have as many big booter slayers as they did in the past and I think he fit in nicely.

Just ma 2 cents though, so much talent. L1P really can't go all that wrong here
 
just so everyone knows, superunknown is not an originality contest. and ill say it again, tight pants and "originality" aren't an excuse for sketchy landings

You're right, they were all way too skinny. They should quit skiing and hit the gym.

just going by what has won in the past, except last years. but, logan has some big mtn skills and stomps stuff. most of this years entries have landings that are sorta laughable

i just dont see them picking some guy w/ mediocre at best jumping skills and gypsy tricks

Stereotypically, I'm sure this guy has many tricks up his sleeve, but skiing probably isn't one of them.
 
I would like to point out to the younger crowd to please watch the other edits and remember them before looking at every new edit and saying ZOMG HES GOING TO WIN hahaha This one still takes the cake as my fav, rail game, jump game, and just how he rides I know he can do anything and take ststuff to the backcountry. Dont you wanna see a lil bit of everything and not just all urban, we have Stept for that
 
then stomp your creative urban, dont backseat/switch pizza pie it. your arms at your side doesn't matter when your skis look like a 40yo mom trying to gain control on a powder day
 
Austin deserves it. He kills it so hard and we know he can slay huge jumps on-par with the rest of Level 1. And he just has so much style. Perfect skier to invite to a park shoot.
 
Yes, I feel him and cedric dp are on a completely different level as far as creativity and keeping up with the rest of the field. Cedric just lacks the jumps that level 1 needs, He would be a great fit for TC or Network. I freaking love the Strudelpack shows, took me til his edit to start watching them
 
jack and dane are really the only ones i'd ever want to see a segment from.

but this is skiing, one of them probably won't win. which is sad. flip ups for life!
 
yes level one definitely needs a few breck jocks who cant jump nearly as well as tom pwhite chris delorme etc doing kfeds on park boxes... fuck a creative feature, just flip that shit dawg!
 
austin or yan will and should win. end. creativity was coveres last year with logan. Now, creativity just isnt... well, creative anymore.
 
I think it will be austin, if you look at last year SU and this years he's got a lot of diversity. Level 1 knows whats right though. Last year I couldn't figure out why they picked logan, but then seeing his shots in eye trip... I knew why they picked him.

Whoever Level 1 picks will be a good addition to the team.
 
its funny cause they are just talking about his "afterbanging" and not about his tricks ! Will is killing it. My favorite so far
 
hatin on the flip ups? its sick as hell i give him mad props. if everyone skied like dane and jack then that would be boring. gotta have both sides
 
are you people forgetting benoit? dude killed it. he would probably get my vote although torvinen is a huge contender
