I don't like his double nearly as much as you people seem to. It just looks like a fucked up sw dub cork to me. It's super impressive he'd throw it on that jump though.

He seems like a pretty good choice though. He has a real tight style on jumps.

well sure, hes good....yet i still feel massively disappointed.only thing i liked in his vid was cork 7 nose mute. otherwise...it looked, to me, so similar to so many other vids on ns. just my opinion.

yeah like this kid straight kills it for sure! his tricks are sick, BUT like what people have been saying above me its another "g-suit" kid. There were a few other choices that would have been just as satisfying to level1 movies. And even though kids think there freinds should win or whatever... definitaly this kid had the better tricks.. but charlie owens was WAY sick and Paul Bergeron was the sickest video for me to watch this year. but you know still major congrats to him for wining. cant wait to see what he does in the movie
 
ya i was a big fan of charlie owens, bergeron and tims as well, it would have been sick to see somebody like owens from NC blow up like this, but like ive said before i am definitly not dissapointed with this choice, they should take mcchesney, owens, bergeron and erikkson. that would be ill if they could do that, all four of them deserve it

I love how everyone loves to point out that Tim should of won because he put sooo much effort into his vid. You dont think every other finalist, didnt put all their fucking effort into their Vids. And its not a popularity contest, which if it were up to NS it would be.
 
if berman would have picked bergeron or tim, most of you would be now critisizing his decision as you would compare the winners' video to the others and would definately spot out something in the videos which is worse than the competitors ones. i personally think that about 3 or 4 of those guys deserved it, an nikklas is one of those..anyone of these 3 would have been a good choice, as it's a tight decision
 
I seriously think Berman should have passed on every single vid that was entered and told people to wait til next year. Hoping to create some sort of hype for next year, so maybe kids wake up and start to get a little more creative.

This kids good, no doubt (they all are!). But nothing that special above and beyond any of the other vids in my opinion.

i think they are trying to say that he went above and beyond to show that he is at a professional level of urban, which features pretty heavily in L1p. no one else really did that.

chris logan should have won anyways.
 
I think that kid that slayed the BC should of won. But thats just my opion. The kid that won though looks really sick and deserves it. And as he went above and beyond all the effort of everyone else??? All these kids put alot of effort into their vids.I dont think its right to say Tim put more effort into his so he should of won. so whoever trys the hardest should win then? Its about skill not the effort put into the vid.

urban is tough to film and get the right shot at the right time. its hard to say someone should win based on their city rail sliding skills. a rail in the park is pretty much a rail in the street minus the stairs,consequences, and maybe some weird angles. But a switch up, 270out, kfed, pretzel or whatever the fuck its called on a single barrel is still the same trick know matter where it's thrown. which helps me realize that there's a lot of pussies out there that just lap the perfect park all day. Which means big ups to tim for putting the effort forth to get those shots.

gj everyone, i think the winnter could've been 2 or 3 guys since they were all pretty equal....hopefully next years entries are more creative.

I just watched Niklas and Tim's videos one after another and I gotta say, I'm astounded McChesney didn't take it. The level of his urban part was fucking absurd and his jump game was also on point. Berman doesn't owe anyone an explanation, but I'm pretty disappointed and a little surprised with his decision.
 
i guess you answered your own question in a few ways, but definitely all valid points.

there are plenty of kids who can do every rail trick in the park that dont put out good urban segments. why? because urban is dangerous and difficult and you have a small window to get it done.
 
Logan has, and has had legitament sponsors for a few years now, in my opinion he doesn't need to win.

Makes perfect sense for a completely unknown skier from Sweden, who has DOPE style, a good attitude, and more skills (at the time of winning) then anyone else in comp.

I wouldn't have considered his video an example of his skill and justified his winning, but I guess its just dope that bermaster dumbledore was there to peep his shit.

Theres no point of arguing about who could / should have won, there are a good 4 + people who equally deserved to soley based of their videos. Fuck yeah again, to Niklas!!!

this is dumb, first of all it doesnt suck for tim because he has someone to film him already. Second of all i got nowhere near the same vibe as i got in ahmet - will seg in turbo. Level 1 has urban talent. If anything it sucks for the filmer that made tims stuff.
 
Look at Martini. That kid is sick as fuck and prob should have won last year in my opinion, and now if Im not mistaken hes filming with PBP. Tim is good and will have a sick segment with DOS this year and will def have his day.
 
Style is what won, and that kid has it. Level one is all about getting kids with style and so far its been working out well.
