SUPER UNKNOWN WINNER IS....

wow ok mods deleted my previous posting??
anyways awesome choice for superunknown, at first i thought that this years entries couldnt compare to wallisch or brogan but i have a feeling this guy might be able to run with the big dogs

well he didnt do joss, he qualified through the swedish open for JOI(which is the big air part).

kid wasn't unknown for me, buuut, im almost to consider an Åre local.

ya i know my previous post was saying i think that Erikson is a better edition than brogan, no hate on brogan whatsoever his style is unmistakably sick and he can throw down hands down but first of all Erikson throws down a lot better on jumps and bigger jumps for that matter, and he will probably be able to film more, so i think he is an all-around better pick-up for Level 1 and will undoubtedly be a blown up skier in the next 3 or 4 years

p.s. i am aware that brogan lives in Penn. and is currently planning to move out west, that is why he has not been filmed much this season, and it will be sick to see more of him next year

well put i was really feeling bergeron and tim as well. but like you said only one winner, and i am definitly not dissapointed, level 1 had a tough choice, any choice would have been a good one.
Great edits guys and i expect to see more edits/see you in superunknown next year too
especially you Paul and Tim

wtf.why all this hate against him? Niklas slays, he's style is so fucking smooth. That dub flat was ill! come on, he really deserved the win. Im sure he's got the potential to shred with the big dogs. Maybe his style is like Henrik's/twalls/ brogans, maybe not. But really who cares. He's a awesome skier, with style on rails and jumps. He fucking deserved it. I'm stoked about him
Congrats man!

FUCK THAT!!!! TERRIBLE PICK BERMAN! I WILL NOT BUY YOUR MOVIE NOW!!!

TIMMY MCCHESNEY SHOULD OF WON!

FUCK SUPERUNKNOWN CONTEST!

FUCK IT ALL!

BULLET TO MY DOME

id like to hope this is a joke.sure 90% of the guys that entered should of won.but really niklas deserved it just as much if not more than them

whoa take it down a notch there buddy. it just a contest, and im sure all of the finalist are going to do fine on their own.

to me i see tim as another wallisch and bergeron as another phil, (all four good and stylish) im sure berman is thinking more than just talent, he probably wants to film in new locations. Id like to see a henrik and niklas segment not shot in the U.S.

I liked Paul Berg's entry the best.

I feel this superunknown choice had allot to do with geographical location. I mean, this would be the first euro winner. Theres been 2 winners from eastern Canada. 2 from New England, and a hand-full of finalist or potential winners from PC or Breck.

I guarantee the fact he's from Europe was the decision maker.

Maybe Berman picked him cause he actually saw him throw down at the Swedish Open and JOI? Idk. just a theory.

It depends on what you call "make it own their won". Sure, they can go to school and get a degree and film some shit on the side, but let us be fair: the SU winner does in fact take the fucking cake. Now while you all go screaming "Shouldn't have been that guy" or "I'm glad he's not an North American" take a look at Oskari Raitanen or Niko Soikkeli (who is a stupid motherfucker), two Finnish guys who deserved the win and come from the Scandis as well as Niklas (who has a "copycat" style). Yeah fuck you Niko. Try hitting on my girlfriend again you bitch. That was a low blow, go drink some more mojitos, asswipe.

there are plenty of big name pros who still go to school and have made it. look at clarke for instance, he won SU and he still attends CU along with a whole bunch of other pros.

Hey Mike-O, I admit that it was a very stupid move, I am sorry (still after years). It is not the only stupid thing I've done drunk. I'M SORRY.

I'm drunk and angry, by the way I'm not longer with that girl so its okay I guess? Ski and be free.

to whoever mentioned spinning both ways: i dont know about you, but when im watching a ski movie thats probably one of the last things about the skiing that i notice. when im watching a movie i admire all the awesome shots and awesome style in the skier's tricks. im pretty sure nobody actually tries to examine which way the skier naturally spins when first watching a segment

Sick edit dude. Can anyone show me where i would be able to watch paul bergerons edit and all the other superunknown vids. Thanks and +k
