Sunday River this weekend.

I'm not sure. I'm headed over in a bit to get some runs in. I'll report back.

Pretty friggin icy on the landings everywhere in the park. Up top there's two new feature sets. Left line is a sweet urban on up tube and then the elbow rail. The right line has a up box and then a c box. They're both set up with a pretty huge drop on the first two features.

Damn, really hope they aren't horribly icy over the weekend but they probably will be.

Yeah the weather and the pushing out the snowmaking piles before they were cured really took a toll on everything. T72 really just needs some more snowmaking attention. Hopefully we'll get back to making snow in the parks world soon

Today was fun overall. Rails still super fun got absolutely raped by the c box though take off gave out and tips went under I went over

Yeah, pretty good snow-wise and the jumps were slightly better than last week. The new features were nice, and the setup down below was still super sick. Hoping that they might get 3D going soon for some chiller jumps.

yeah I am pretty stoked to see if they actually fix it up nicely like they say there gonna do. I was disappointed last year in 3D. I was expecting a park closer to what Starlight was like 2 years ago when it had Medium sized jumps and creative rails. I found the jumps and rails in 3D to be to small and more or less resembled moonstruck park rather than starlight.

Yeah, that'd be perfect. Put the really tiny stuff from 3D back in to Whoville, you could hardly tell the difference between the two last year. I know SR wants to give beginners their own little park without the intimidating atmosphere associated with the bigger stuff, but I think it's be fine to have those small features found in 3D last year in Whoville, making a small park more like Moonstruck. Something other than flatbars and straight boxes in 3D would be prime.

I agree with most of your post, but last year they definitely did do some decent stuff with 3D. Remember they had that up flat down tube, the rainbow box, the polejam, and a couple decent other rails. The jumps definitely could be bigger and nicer I agree. Hopefully Whoville gets the smaller rails from 3D moved there and we can ski something decent at night this year. (I'm still confused as to whether lights on T72 is a thing or not?).

Also for the sake of not double posting, my broken collarbone is feeling pretty good after a few weeks off skiing, hopefully should be out of the sling, into PT and back at SR in a few weeks time. To all of you up there appreciate being able to ski and keep those of us who aren't up posted on what's set up, I sure as hell would be stoked on any skiing right now.

The park was sweet yesterday. They did a good job getting rid of all the ice. I'm trying to get back into skiing the park so I've been fine on rails but yesterday I misjudged the tiny ass first jump and landed on the flats. Stuck it out to my feet but I think I might have broken my big toe

I am terrified of the jumps there's like a 5% chance you hit the sweet spot

It's kind of funny, I doubt anyone on here thinks I even ski now. Fuck it. I ski with an O'neil NS jacket in case anyone wants to know if I actually ski. I do make it onto the slopes sometimes. Bdarb how long have you skied at SR? Trying to call out someone who's skied here since he was seven, better watch it mr gnarby darby

For the record, PurpleDino skis once in a while. He'll be the one doing sixes off the up rail if anyone is looking for him.

Hahahahahahahahaha I guess that'll work. If we stick the first two, what about a high five on the last one?

Anyone else pumped for some features on Upper Dream Maker on the way down to T72? Love getting as many hits in as possible per run!

Park was prime feature-wise today, the 10 little features and 2 small jumps were a welcome addition. Quite icy by the end of the day, but the setup was the best so far this year!

The jumps were both fantastic and terrifying today. I took the first to the Gucci Plateau a few times, but the snow was so soft I barely felt it. Definitely the best jump day of the year so far.

Damn, been waiting for a soft snow jump day and I might have missed it. Hope it stays somewhat soft for Friday. Ill be up at SR and Sugarloaf both a couple of times during vacation.

Who was the guy in the yellow jacket smearing butter all over the place with Tidd and co? That was some of he sickest shit I've seen on skis in person.

Been in Louisiana the last week. Can I get a general update? Did the rain screw everything up?

I've mostly just been cruising around the Mtn all day but when I checked out the park the other morning it was pretty good, snow was soft (maybe too soft, a lot probably got skied off later in the day) but none of the features got melted out or anything.

Currently sitting at home with a concussion. Apparently I caught an edge hitting the second jump on January 1st and landed on my head. Went to patrol and the hospital but have no memory of either. I lost memory of New Years Eve and pretty much everything on the 1st but some of it is coming back. I'm having some issues with short term memory but should make a full recovery. Hopefully I'll get back soon and most likely will stick to filming for the rest of the season. Everyone keep killing it out there.

Holy shit dude! Issak told me today what happened! How long do you have to stay out? I should be back out by next weekend, but I damaged a muscle and a ligament in my lower hip last Sunday that has prevented me from walking right but I've been healing pretty well as of Thursday. Dude, that sucks big time, hope you have a fast and full recovery and come back to kill it soon!

Physically I feel perfectly fine. I'm still having some issues with short term memory and focusing on things for awhile. I'm hoping to get back up as soon as possible but I'm just gunna have to convince my parents to let me go. My goal is to get up by the last weekend in January but we'll see.

Very sad to hear that man. I'm almost 100% back from my collarbone injury and should be up for MLK weekend. Hopefully we can still film and ski some this year. Best of luck!

I just put out a video from a couple days of filming in December. Hopefully can get back up soon and will be filming hard for the rest of the season.
