Sunday River this weekend.

I'm probably going to Gould next year, what do you guys know about them? I would be in the freestyle competition program.

Anything and everything, boarding. Whats the local rep of the school, what are the kids like, how good is the skiing, whats the atmosphere like, etc.
 
They have a good reputation. The parks are on point and you'll ski a ton. Plus the school itself is good, sends kids to good schools etc. Its a fun little town but there's nothing going on but outdoor stuff basically so if that's your jam, you're gold.

I'm headed up this weekend, should be a good time. Hopefully the parks that are still open are dope and maybe they will open up the course Sunday (or it will be possible to poach?).
 
This weekend should be dope. Dumont Cup will be awesome as always. I think we're gunna have a gaper day on Sunday for anyone who wants to participate. I'll be out shooting so feel free to join us.

Wasn't planning on coming this weekend but do to an unfornate event (non ski related) I gotta go home to my fam. I'll be up prob Friday-Monday so I hope to see you goons there

All you people skiing only park are missing out, the whole mountain has been riding killer. Hopefully this rain didn't kill it, we'll find out! Heading out in a bit.

Yeah, last weekend we poached some trees over on Aurora and Barker and the snow was pretty prime.

Looks like parks are done at Sunday River after today...

Really sucks because they had a solid park setup through the last day last season but they are shutting it down earlier this year. Kinda bs because they still have snow all the way down.

I asked them why they are giving up and they said the rain, dont get why they cant just take stuff down and set up a rail or two again friday after the rain stops.

Yeah, supposed to rain like all week though so I doubt there'll be much snow left on rocking chair to dig rails in and make jumps.

Sunday River just posted their proposed opening day as OCTOBER 19TH, hot damn, thats like 5 days away!

If snowmaking really can pull it off, you guys are incredible!

Looks like opening day will just be T2, but there is space to set up 3 or 4 rails at the top of that trail, like they did 2 seasons ago, or at the bottom like they did last season. I'm just hoping they have some features up for us!
 
Sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for tomorrow night. Do your snow dances for some cold friggin temps, snowmaking is ready to hit it hard!
