So im in desperate need for money. Im starting college and ive pretty much got that covered with student aid money, but I need money for car insurance and living money. Anyone know a good company that has low interest rates that wont require me to have a job? Thanks.

i feel you bro. im 30k in debt. and people have the nerve to go door to door asking me to sponsor a kid in africa and make me feel bad when i decline. i'm like 'dude i gotta take care of me first. i have negative money, and a lot of it. what do you expect me to do..'

that sucks buddy. i just need a loan right now though that wont kick my ass later. anyone on a loan right now?

im gunna be in this situation soon.... not a good feeling to know your going to be in debt

i was always able to take the maximum amount from federal loans to pay for loans and then money for rent/food/insurance etc. also a good option is to talk to your financial aid department and ask them. i used other loans that weren't from private companies.
yep I have $135k in student loans...gonna be awesome paying that back

is that like where you sign up for a loan, and they send the school your money, and whatever is left over you get for living?

yeah each semester i would get money deposited straight into my checking account with the money left over from financial aid after paying tuition. so if i got 15k in loans, and tuition was 10k, i'd get 5k to survive.

wow some of your guys loans makes my situation seem so much nicer. I am going through school and will not give up my truck, and want weekends to be work free for skiing and I am not even close to 135 or even 35k in debt. In fact I will be in about the same situation at the end of this summer as I was last summer, so my loan will not get any worse I hope.

to answer your question, I got a loan from my bank, it's 5% interest, so if I maxed it out @10g the interest would be like 500 a year I think, which is not that bad I guess, way better than a credit card

Get a job if you can. Seriously. It's better than paying back double for small money like that (car insurance, gas, etc)

Yeah man if you have school paid for I would do everything in my power to avoid loans. They suck real bad once you graduate. Try donating plasma or working on campus or something, anything.

if you have school covered get a fucken job dude. Yes you might not be ablet o go out and do shit all the time but when it comes down to it in teh long run its going to be good. You can be good on 30 bucks a week tops if your good with money
