under 30 pass will be that price for a while. The Sunday pass increased $50 to $249 now. i saved money getting it early at $199. i like dumb marketing!

I didn't notice until this year how few natural drops and jibs there are in the woods at Stratton. If someone were to make a couple log rides, stump jibs, etc., would Ski Patrol take them down immediately? I really want to take a few summer days and make some fun jibs, but I don't want it to be a waste of time if they're all going to be removed. Anyone have any idea what the outcome would be? Anyone want to help?
 
depends where they are. if you build them somewhere that'll be hard to find they won't care. i.e. skier's right in test pilot or skiers left world cup woods. also as long as no one will get hurt on them (i.e. in the middle of a track, hard to see, etc.) they won't care. if you go up in the summer into the woods you might just see trail crew cutting some new glades even! the trail crew guys are all pretty chill.source: im on ski patrol there
 
That's the answer I was looking for! I was thinking more along the lines of Cabin Fever because it is more accessible from the road, so hauling heavy wooden structures up in the summer will be a little easier.

In Colorado, they have a rule that if the feature contains nails, then it becomes an unauthorized "structure" and ski patarol is obligated to tear it down. Anybody know of a similar rule here, or will anyting fly as long as it's out of the way?
 
haha don't hold me to my word though. i can't speak for the higher ups i.e. if a vice president sees it and asks us to take it down we are obligated to follow his orders. just make sure they're out of the way and can't get hurt on and it shouldn't matter.
