Stevens Pass Thread 09/10

Hey Scott, you suck. And just for being a hater I am going to rub it in and say that I am going thursday to.

My touring gear has arrived. We should do some touring soon, maybe one day this weekend. Around crystal will probably be good, they got a foot of snow.
David, Sam, you should come to.
 
Wed - Laugh at Jonas dying in a treewell accident

Thu - make love to jonas sister

Fri - Attend jonas funeral, laugh some more

Sat - Go skiing, maybe pee in the treewell jonas died in.

Im telling you, dont go up tomorrow~

I have my comp this weekend(both days, doubt I'll go up firday unless I have to for the comp) but have the skins for my 202s now so I can tour soon. I also have 4 Crystal day passes to use(maby going next weekend?) if some of you(Jonas and friends) want to tour, especially the basins and cliffy areas outside of silver king since Stevens doesn't have very much of that terrain.

I also found some good new stuff at Stevens that looks like death from almost every possible view(there's very few places you can see it from) you can get of it, inbounds with no hike, and I've never seen any tracks(but my own now) near it. Could be fun taking a better look at it soon.

Wish me luck at the comp! who else is going to be there?
 
Awesome day and didnt die. Scotts mom was there to, I've never really had sex in the woods while skiing, its fucking awesome everyone, you should try it. scotts mom skis at Stevens a bunch (a little advice. She likes it when you pee in her butt)

Yea a little touring would be fun this weekend David and Scott, and Sam can come with us in the future.
Sam cowboy got a bunch of snow and it was good up there. Just did one run over there then went other places. Surprised they didn't close it off to save it for the comp. I'll probably head over to cowboy to watch your run this weekend.
 
^good to hear the top will be good but I hope they hurry up and close rock garden so 4/5 of my run isn't spent skiing 202s through small moguls.

Apparently I have the 13th to the 21st off and may be heading to baker or crystal then, or somewhere with lots of pow. Next weekend I probably won't go anywhere since my shins will most likely need rest before my week off of school(my shitty right shins tendon is hurting, probably from a few backseat landings, and will probably be a bitch durring the comp).
 
Also anyone lose a joystick pole? One of my poles broke today so I went to the lost and found and got another one. I was going to bring it back but I skied right to the car and was to lazy to walk all the way over there.
If this is your pole or you know whose pole it is please hit me up and I will give it back. It was kind of in the back of the pile so I think it was lost awhile ago and whoever lost it isnt going to pick it up. So I think I am going to keep it so I have two poles. But if you know whose it is hit me up ASAP.
 
The past two years they have closed it about a week early, to keep the run more of a cruddy powder mix instead of a mogul field.

Oh, and does anybody have a single extendable pole I could buy/have? I broke one of mine and doubt that the tape I am using is going to keep it together too long.. Mine were the bead kind. If anybody has a decent pair of 45ish" normal poles for cheap that'd be great if I can't get a replacement..
 
Oh wow lol. I guess I just didnt realize it. Thought I do remember 2 years ago the comp was on an epic powder day, and I ducked the ropes and skied through the comp area before it started. Didnt even know there was a comp, whoops!~
 
ive got a single 48" scott world cup SL pole you can have sam. idk if that helps you, but you could cut it

That would, thanks! I'll just use one extendable pole at about 48" and that till I get a full set of either. I might check lost and found for one about that size so I don't break the other extendable durring the comp. Are you going up Saturday or are you going to Mission?

STEVENS FIGHT!!!!!, top of top phlight terrain park, saturday, January 20th, at noon . 5 dollar entry fee. In the red corner will see QUENTIN_BeHR in the blue corner we will see the challenger topflightsteeze. should be an eventful saturday
